Open World Race PVP / New World: Aeternum Tank PvP (Sword and Shield + Greatsword)

I love being a tank in this game, not just for pvp but even during the leveling in this game. It was so much easier to go into 10 to 20+ higher level areas and survive by just having more hp than the enemies there. In pvp it just feels so good to watch a horde of enemies surround you and unable to defeat you for minutes on end... if they even can. Cant wait for the new update, Im gonna love to have my console friends play as tanks along with me. In my imagination im trying to picture if there was 4 of you on the battlefield instead of being alone. If they had that much trouble beating you in a 1v10, imagine 4 of you together, lol death would be impossible.

Bro hahahahaha this is AWESOME! 4 tanks built to withstand punishment, coordinated, trained, AND at the same time to dish out respectable damage would be the DREAM. To add to what you said about tanking, I think it feels GREAT when I block damage and I hear the sound of metal CLASHING - the sound of combat in this game is best in genre. Are you guys also playing SNS/GS, or are going to split it up like SNS /GS and SNS/WH, Spear etc?

Tanking never gets old. I used to be a Mage main and I can't go back now. Being surrounded by enemies and staying alive in the clump is SO satisfying. I'm going to wait until the update but I want to see if I can craft a Greatsword with Plagued Strikes, Trenchent Strikes, and Trenchant Recovery. Unsure if that combo of perks is illegal or not. Then again, it is difficult to not use Serenity. That thing is an absolute BEAST.

Hahahahah yes bro it's illegal combo perk. Serenity is broken because of the above reason - it combines 2 illegal perks. :D Plag Strikes + Trenchant Recovery are a must imo, most likely I will make a GS with Tr Rec, Plag Strikes, Calamity Counter

Imo, wait for the Fresh Servers as everyone will be there, and slowly build that build. Maybe devs will make a few changes along the way, so we got more time to adjust to the "meta" so to speak. :D At least these are my 2 cents bro! Sameeeee cant waittttt!

@@noneblack-fn3zd Hahahah no they will not be empty. It's actually the opposite. Anyone on Fresh who feels he wants to go hardcore, will be jumping to the Legacy servers. This is what happened 2 years ago till now. Nysa (on EU) is a Legacy server, and always had the biggest pop!

Yes absolutely! Being effective depends on how well you can wield your weapons. This is an action combat game, so u can pick and choose your fights, u can engage and hit people without clicking "tab" multiple times before. Also, there is no "miss", "resist", evasion and other such nonsense. You can expect ur abilities to work 100% of the time, and can plan ahead in 1vX scenarios.

Hahaha all that is happening is that I am occupying a lot of their players and I MAKE them cast their important abilities on me. This way, my team can have an easier fight. To be fair, they are doing an excellent job, both the healers, and the DPS. 🎖
