He has handled EVERY single interview (great and downright awful) with so much poise, honesty and sincerity I'm just in awe with this wonderful human being!

This interview had so much potential but resulted with so much 2nd hand embarrasment for me - mostly the 1 mic and floundering for questions... Hozier looked very nice and alert for having probably had no rest at all. And the lighting in that van or whatever is awesome- this interview had so much potential! I do like the "where do you want to visit?" Question. I don't recall Hozier having that question posed to him before. I think he'll fit right in in Chicago and the American South. His accent is very similar to the midwestern/southern regions of America too.

I cringe on the part where the interviewer assumed that his dad did the percussions on his album and his reaction was like "do you really know any sh*t about me?". 'Cause if she really made her research, it's in wiki and is pretty accurate. o.O but overall, it was okay. Questions were varied though a lot were irrelevant.

That was very polite of him, actually. Telling her "You know, my father can't play anything, he's in a wheelchair" would be cruel and totally unnecesary, and he's a kind person who tries to see the best in everybody.

This interviewer is so unprepared it's not even funny. Very unprofessional of her. Hozier is a class act, handled it very nicely.

This is painful to watch. The interviewer was not prepared and there was no direction to speak of despite having an obvious budget available. Hozier, as an artist, appears to be still quite shy and getting used to the attention he is getting. At times, he appears to be helping the interviewer as best he can but even that doesn't overcome the sophomoric questions and clumsy handling. Also, seriously? A single mic? HE'S BENDING HIS HEAD TO HELP YOU GET GOOD AUDIO. Sheesh. Lapel mics are $10 on Amazon.
