My 1st wife was not a fan of my collection, it stayed boxed up and put away for decades....my 2nd, and last wife, embraces my hobby and is happy, because I'm happy. It was so great opening those boxes and displaying everything properly. I found things, I had forgot about.

I really liked that term the end game with collecting. I have been asked that by many people over the years. Even ask my self that! My honest answer is exactly what you have said in some sence. I would like my collector space to be twice the size. But also very thankful and blessed to have what I have. And what story of good luck, bad luck, hardwork and timing. Thankyou lord for all I have and to find these things that bring purpose in my life and maybe others thanks to youtube!

Great to see that you two really enjoy each other's collection, as well as respecting it as well. I know as far as the statue collecting game, it can be brutal when it comes to the sufficient other. Some couples have actually gotten divorced, because of their mate's collecting habits.

I've seen a lot of conflict over collecting too. It's a shame when that creates division.

I'm one of those people with a lot of stuff (been collecting for 30 years) and not much space to display it. My goal is to sometime maybe move and have a room as big as a 2 1/2 car garage to display things in. There's only two big problems, I like my neighborhood and I have really good neighbors.

@@OpenByChance not possible. The house is surrounded by 40 year old maple trees, and the design of the house doesn't provide a good place for stairs. My washer and dryer are in the kitchen. I've given it a ton of thought, it's not fun being stuck between a rock and a hard place.

My Ex wife use to say to her friends when they would come over, he collects "Dolls". Did u notice that I said Ex😂😂😂. That's not why we divorced but she absolutely hated me collecting Anything🤯

Yeah its kinda weird but i get excited for my wife if i see a item online she needs. Hahaha iv even looked into items more in-depth then her and ask her is she knew that. I may not love the items she collects *cough sailor moon* *cough* but i respect and love how it makes her feel! It is a nice feeling when you find someone who can understand what you like and even over time can love what they like haha! Love that you two have combined your collections, so well sorted also.

Wow this is a great topic! I was woundering about that because of the space fills up so quick and you both have different interests in what you collect..I have my own garage thats the mán cave and my wife has her own greenhouse and áreas for her gardering hobby. She got a rabbit too that took control of our whole spare room. I have had countless comments on my channel on how someone really loves collecting masters of the universe figures and are 30 or 40 years old and there girlfriend or wife doesn't get it!. That turns into an interesting discusión. With my own personal advice but at the same time I have to becarful in what I say!

Find people interesting who have good collection of toys and always interesting to see especially if they have mini museum 👍🏻. I’m single but hope someone doesn’t sell their collection just because of a partner.
