Is kangaskhan a good card now? I traded a first kangaskhan and first mr mime for a base non first charizard back when jungle was the newest card set out. I only remember because back than having a charizard was the end all be all. i still have it lol

@@BreadAndGatorade I don't think Charizard is in the set he's opening, but I remember the hype over the original base set Charizard was insane. I went nuts trying to get one and couldn't. Then one day, I randomly grabbed two packs while I was out shopping with my Dad, and by some miracle, BOTH were Charizards! Trying to explain to my Dad how insane that was in that car ride home was......challenging to say the least. Sadly, I have no idea what even happened to them, but I'll never forget it.

the silvering is *REALLY* common in Jungle 1st (and possibly Jungle unlimited in general, too). I'm cautiously optimistic in saying that PSA is aware of this - maybe the grader will be a little lenient and the grades won't suffer too much.

I looked through a bunch of my old pokemon cards today because of videos such as these. I had a lot of the old ones, but none of them were first edition except for Machamp. I didnt protect many of them and now many of them feel gritty due to the fact that they were stored in an old fishing reel box that wasn't air tight. They're not supposed to feel gritty right?

Some nice potential 10's amongst those holo's. I've pulled a few holo's from base, rocket and fossil and silvering is definitely an issue that's an unfortunate result of the production of cards during that time. Really cool opening!

Super Dooper the cards are pretty tightly packed in the wrappers. Over time it wears the edges a bit.

TCA Gaming and other collectors out there: looking for some insight, on the 1st edition jungle set does a 1st edition electrode non holo 18/64 exist? The only ones I have ever found are the image from the base set the people call an “error”. I’m close to completing my rocket and prior 1st edition collection so I need to figure this out.
