Basically, if you want premium time and gold, don't spend any money on the year and wait for the loot boxes. That way, it is true that any tank or style is indeed an "extra" value and you just bought what you wanted at a discount!

I don't understand QB saying this is gambling if they tell you and guarantee that you'll get the gold equivalent to your money spent have you decided to just buy a year worth premium account gold amount in the premium shop once a year. Of course, if one can afford to have approximately 100 € on one pile. And that is the main reason to buy loot boxes, because everything additional you get (skins, small premiums, credits and big premium tanks) is for free! That's how you should see this, QB.

Got 14 small boxes today by completing all today's missions, only 1 decoration from it. And i can't get more even if i would like to spend my time and grind it, cause is there's no missions for it... I got 200-700 shards per box... So basically you need spend all the shards from the beginning to get just few decorations, wich ond minimum cost 1000 shards... Today i got 5 and reached lvl 2. For completion you need 284 😂 So if will play daily, will do all daily missions, won't get duplicate decorations, I will finish it after 57 days, some time around on Valentines day. Hahahaha Also bonus to credits i think would be impossible to reach 50% cause no matter what level your atmosphere will be, collection bonus will be very hard to reach cause you need minimum 260 decorations for 4% x atmosphere level, 160 for 2.8%, 20 for 2%, so max 40% if you collect all shards, +10% from large decorations... Anyway, If I'll get by the end of this festive atmosphere in next year to like 38% credits boost, i will be very happy... So like always, just spend real money, get it form the first day and enjoy your already plentyfull credits balance that you got from buying boxes 🤣 those who try to play free, will get least amount of everything and be bullied by new premium tanks full of gold ammo... Lol

And don't forget that when placing ornaments, that even duplicates count as +1 point to the level. So if you do buy large boxes, don't immediately scrap all the duplicate ornaments; wait until you've gotten the 1 point for putting a "new" decoration in a slot. No idea if this is a bug or intended.

Took me 190 total boxes to get all the new tanks and styles, but honestly I feel bad dumping $300 for 225 loot boxes. I only could do this cuz of my xmas bonus. Total stats: 225 boxes opened, 38 vehicles, 28 of them turned into gold(1 was an extra torvagn), 6 styles, 160 D Premium, 111,350 gold, 10,900,000 Credits, 225 Decos. Fyi, buying $300 worth of gold is only 75k gold. So technically buying boxes > buying creds/gold/prem days separately.

This was my first Christmas that I have bought these boxes in 9 years of playing and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. 75 boxes got me : All low tier premium vehicles All 3 new Tier 8 Premiums 3 3D Styles 27,000 Gold 3,000,000 Credits Level 7 Christmas level (75 decorations) 56d Premium I would consider this above average luck. Result this morning: Spent $206 for 153 loot boxes (2x75, 1x3) and got all four of the Tier 8s that I didn't already own, 13 low-tier premiums (including duplicates), plus 90 days of premium account, plus 60,000 gold (not counting compensation for duplicate tanks), 8,000,000 credits. In other words, about $400 worth of gold and credits, plus 4 Tier 8 premiums, plus 90 days of premium account. The tanks were, in essence, free and the gold and credits were half price. Three of the four tanks came at the end of the 50-box counter and one came as a random addition to the 101st box. Great revision to the loot boxes, Wargaming !!!

On the ST-II skin, those devices at the sides are actually support pads. I would assume since it has rockets on top the pads are put down to compensate with recoil. Simalar pads can be found on backhoes when they have to dig with th rear scoop, too. Either that or something that swings forward to clear mines, though I doubt that.

I aggre with you that it´s just a stupid idea, however, it wasn´t a mistake from their point of view. They have just made it harder to reach the highest level of atmosphere, therefore, making it less bearable for some players, which can possibly result in more people spending money. If they were really concerned about players who were complaining about not being able to use lower levels of decorations, they would just add a feature that once you reach any level of atmospehere, you can´t lose it nonetheless.

These seem okay value if you need the gold. If you buy: 75 boxes @ £85.55 Minimum gold in boxes = 18,750 (250 * 75) Gold value in store (18,750) = £54.71 Therefore you are paying £30.84 (£85.55 - £54.71) for a T8 premium (guaranteed) plus other items (styles, premium time etc).

This time around they screwed up something fierce, a lot of people are having issues with the guaranteed non duplicate ornament in the boxes. On top of that the requirement for level 10 atmosphere is just too much, the crafting is made for the old system but stayed the same... So unless you shell out money for 150+ boxes you will not get level 10 in december. For me atleast they ruined the happy feeling of this event since most will not be able to benefit from the bonuses, so i won't waste my time or money this time around.

in wot blitz, crates/lootboxes is one of the main way that people try to get tanks, in fact, it's the most popular. wg is clear with all the drop chances from the start and even gives you charms that will guarantee the vehicle after a number of crates, 25 is the norm. Crates are mostly for specific tanks, others that contain multiple tanks generally don't have charms, but maybe gold charms.

So I bought the 75 boxes and I was extremely underwhelmed until about 40 boxes left and then I got 3 tier 8 premiums within just a few boxes of each other. Crazy. Then one more tier 8 with less than 10 boxes left. Not bad. So not tempted to buy more boxes just to get that next tier 8. Im pleased, though I wanted the Caliban, and that wasn't among the 4 tier 8's I got. Odd no crew with any of the tanks? I guess I missed that detail in QBs video. I got only one of the older 3D skin as well.

Using your numbers, in 50 loots boxes, we can expect to get close to the following: -25,000 gold which normally costs $100 US -36 days premium time which normally costs $20 -At least 1 Tier 8 premium tank (because of the guarantee) which normally sell for around $50 -3.45 million credits That’s $170 value plus the 3.45 million credits for the $80 it takes to buy 50 loot boxes. The 1st tier 8 premium you got was guaranteed so it had nothing to do with luck. But the next 2 tier 8 premiums you got out of the next 18 boxes was incredibly lucky. The probability of getting 3 tier 8 premiums out of 18 boxes, each with only a 2.4% drop chance, is only 6.84%.

Opened 100 boxes, 4 times 25x, and I got the 3 new tier 8 premiums, 122 tm medium, all the lower tier tanks, a skin for wz1115a, around 80 days of premium days, 36k gold, and i think 2m credits. Keep in mind that the gold you get you can use it for the daily offers of advent calendar, i bought immediately the polish heavy premium tank of today's offer.

They've changed the drop chances. In the past two years, I managed to get all the teir 8 premium tanks in 75 boxes... This year, I only managed to get them when they where guarantied drops.

When you got 2 or the 3D styles in your first 3 loot boxes, you defied the odds by an amazing amount. The probability of getting 2 of the 3D styles when opening 3 boxes, each with only a 5% drop chance, is only 0.73% or a 1 in 137 chance. Wow!

Based on my run with these boxes and knowing wargaming and the rigged nature of this game, I can almost guarantee these boxes are rigged and those drop chances they listed mean nothing sadly. My example: opened 75 boxes - got nothing until the 50th box where I got the consolation price in the form of the 122 TM (I even wrote a comment on youtube a day before betting that the consolation price you get in the 50th box will be the 122 TM LOL, not that it's a bad tank, it's just not new and not the Skoda lol). Then what do you know - in the last 10 boxes I got another 3 t8 tanks: yoh, tornvagn, and caliban (I literally got the tornvagn and the caliban in the last two boxes). Now, does that not look a bit sketchy from a statistics point of view?

75 boxes: Škoda T56 - box number 50 122 TM - box number 52 All low tier tanks (some duplicates) 33k gold 3 mil credits 47 days of premium Styles for: Rinoceronte, ST-II and last years styles for: Maus, Conqueror GC and STB-1 (Last year I bought only 3 boxes) I don't think I had bad luck, but it wasn't a "steal" either.

Since QB failed to mention it if blue light and dust comes out of the box when it opens you will get either 1 of the 3D styles or a tier 8 Premium, while if the light and dust coming out of the box while it opens is not light blue there will be no 3D style or tier 8 premium.

I am wondering if the 2.8% chance of getting a Teir 8 includes the guaranteed tanks, because if it does, that makes up 2 of the 2.8% meaning you have a 0.8% chance of getting one at random.

You got 3 of the 3D camos out of opening 50 loot boxes. The statistical probability of that happening is only 46%. You said it was bang on, but you exceeded the odds. For every 100 players who open 50 loot boxes, 54 of them get less than 3 of the 3D camos and only 46 players out of 100, will get at least 3 of the 3D camos.

Realistically 200 boxes will run you $280 and he got over $400 worth of gold alone. Then you add in all the styles, new tanks, silver AND premium... If you are a avid player of the game it IS worth the crates overall. You also get all the bonuses from festivity levels as well, crew members, etc.

One way to know if you get tier 8 prem tank or 3d styles is the blue color when the boxes is opened. That's what I have been noticed.

I opened 50 boxes and only got one pity tank at 50. Over 20% of the boxes had just the extra 100,000 credits or 1 day premium. QB's numbers for his first 2 sets of 50 are miles ahead of mine. The festive RNG game is a harsh one once again.

I had a bigger bonus this year than normal so, got 150 boxes instead of the 'usual' 75. I wasn't (and haven't been any year) interested in the tanks, only the gold, premium time and credits. This year it seems that it was worse for tanks, but since you always got a third result (no more 1 decoration and 250 gold), it was a win for me. Easily double the gold, more than double the premium time and around double the credits. There also didn't seem to be much inflation on the cost. 64k gold alone would cost me £184, 150 boxes costs £171. 8m credits and 108 days of premium on top, plus all the styles, boosted Atmosphere level and 3 premiums tanks (I got the Skoda, Tornvagn and 122 TM), makes it more than worth it as a single year's purchase.

Question is if the bad luck prevention system is factored into the likelihood of getting a t8. I would argue that the chances for you getting a t8 is only 2,5% because you had the prevention kicking in. The chances to find a t8 in any given box should thus be lower?

GUYS, if you don't have LVL 10 Festive ATM yet, MAKE SURE YOU EQUIP ALL THE NEW DECORATIONS YOU GET IN THE GARAGE BEFORE TURNING THEM TO SHARDS. That will give you progress toward the festive atm lvl.
