Those Transformers cards were a real thing with events and stuff. It was fun, but Hasbro debated on selling Wizards of the Coast when covid hit, and had to liquidate any games with IP assets. Then they decided not to sell because collectible card games went nuts.

The game was a lot of fun, I was an event organizer for Northwestern Pennsylvania and Northeastern Ohio. The big cards that transform were your character cards, which have a “star value” on the back that you combine to 25 for a team, then with the smaller cards you build a 40 card deck to support them.
