Opening a RARE 1985 Series 1 Garbage Pail Kids Pack in 2023!!

You may already know this very important fun fact that the Repaired Rex from the OS5 set has a super rare error on very few of the total produced. It’s called “Repaired Rex , Ghost Green 10” or more accurately identified as “upside down OF” . This error shows up in the upper right corner of the front card, at the tip of the needle . In 1986, the story goes that there was extra card stock board left over from the baseball card production, and the lettering of Dave Winfield’s All Star card bled through that GPK dark color shown through with the “OF”. This is the only known error of this type throughout all the series. I discovered one in my OS sets. FYI.

I've collected GPK's since 1985 and to this day still don't have the whole 1st series set, I've got 22 of the 1st series cards thru buying lots on Ebay of them thru the years where there would be 1 or 2 thrown in the lot by mistake....series 3 thru 5 were MASS produced but series 1,2 and 11-15 are on the more scarce side with series 1 having the lowest production because topps didn't know if anyone would actually buy them....
