You probably know by now but the adjectives in the flavor line refer to the card rarity. Ordinary= Common, Exceptional= Uncommon, Elite= Rare. I think there might be Unique= Mythic and possibly Curio cards which I believe are Alpha set only and very limited

Some of the artists are old school MTG artists. Very recognizable and cool art.

So a few things for the cards as I was apart of some of the playtesting. The rarity of the cards are ordinary, Exceptional, Elite, Unique. The rarity determines the number of copies in a deck being 4,3,2,1 respectively. Power and toughness are one stat in the top right. Cost of a card is in the top left. The symbols on the right of the cost is a threshold you need to have that comes from sites. Amazing game go look up gameplay. Standard deck size is 40 in the spellbook and 20 in the Atlas. The precons do have less cards in them. Some of the most fun I have had

There is so much about this game that is intuitive to MTG players. There's a few things to get used to like the Mana/Threshold, and the board state, but unless you design your deck super high cost or multi-element you should not get mana screwed or flooded at the start of the game. You also get to choose to draw a site or a spell, so the option to get more mana is always available each turn. Then, the more sites you have in play you will have more mana, but you will have more you need to defend.

I backed this as well. Picked up the decks and a booster box. The initial trailer caught my eye, it actually had some production value. Then I saw the card art and a few reviews and it looked good enough to back.

Exact same thing i did lol. Pretty excited for all the extra tokens & signed cards they said would be included for hitting higher goals. My thought was elemental decks to play with booster box to hold in case becomes crazy & if not have fun opening an alpha product with possible rare finds. Win win 😊

Rubble cards are to mark destroyed sites and the little cards are tokens for the various cards that create them

Our Sorcery cards are now on a ship and headed to the fulfillment centers. From there, tracking numbers will soon be provided and cards will be in our hands. Can't wait!!

I've a couple of these on preorder. Do you know if the deck boxes will hold sleeved cards as there seems to be a lot of space within?

Why do new TCGs always make their cards a diffrent size or shape. Just so they wont fit in sleeves and binders? Silly.

Sorcery cards size is standard, they will fit in usual sleeves. If you're referring to the small ones at the beginning of the video, they are just tokens. Originally those tokens were supposed to be 1/2 size but ended up 1/4 size by mistake. They were still looking playable and were left that way.
