One moment im watching you eat pudding thats 40 years old and potentially moldy, then im watching it flush in slow motion, in reverse and close up, then youre splitting wood and making a fire and thats super chill, then you randomly throw and entire pack of firecrackers onto it and then you launch 18 fireworks and you think the video is over but wait, now we are cooking potatoes and big pasta. I hope you make shirts, because i want one.

I know I'm old when the packages look totally familiar to me. Used to be tasked with making this pudding for my family's dessert when I was school age. I sometimes did the cold puddings with milk and sometimes the cooked varieties.

Hello David. My 87 year-old mother keeps everything. The other day when I was at her house, I looked through her spice rack and there were tons of really old spices she hasn't used in decades! The oldest thing I found was a 5.37 oz. jar of Schilling Whole Black Pepper Peppercorns. The date on the back label is 1974! That's right: 50 year-old peppercorns! I would be glad to donate them to you to use for a video. Please reply with an email address and we can work out my shipping them to you. I'm sure my mother would be surprised and delighted that the jar she probably undeliberately kept for so long was given off to a collector for a KZbin video!

My Aunt used to use that "Celery" Jello to make a fruit & vegetable dish for every Easter. It had celery, and apples, and I think fruit cocktail. It was good, went well with the Easter ham, even though my brother & I thought it was weird!

Most of the world has milk like that. Shelf stable for longer and no refrigeration until opened, just like you said. It's especially helpful where refrigeration is a premium, which is very much a common thing outside the USA. Enjoy the holiday!

When I go camping, I make the first meal before I leave. It is a chicken in foil dinner. Boneless, skinless chicken thighs cooked in oil but added thinly slices of red onion, mushrooms carrots and zucchini with a gob of butter, and herbs. Absolute heaven. So when I go to said camping site the meal is ready, I just need the firewood.
