I understand when multiple trees get shipped together their May be a likelihood of a snapped small branch here or there. It happens. Have never had an instance so far where it has ruined the overall look and shape of the tree. I’m keeping my fingers crossed this continues lol. Thanks for watching.

❤❤❤ wow you really went to town! You were like Mary Poppins pulling all those out of the box 😂. I have Seiryu in zone 6B, but I live on a hill top with all day very hot south & southwest open sun exposure with strong wind and it does amazing! I think you will have luck with it in the spot you mentioned. Good luck with the garden expansion. Can’t wait for the updates.

Question: do you have many of your grafted trees revert? I only have 15. And was wondering if there's going to be a small percentage that will revert; and I should just expect it to happen occasionally? Thanks.

Have seen no true reversion on any of mine, however cultivars such as beni schichinge can show signs of reversion with solid green leafed branches which u should immediately take out. Some even pink variegated cultivars also can show reversion which some times will require a light to heavy early spring pruning to bring out the true variegation to new shoots or branches. Such as rainbow, Noel, oridono nishiki to name a few. Great question and thanks for watching!

I love Mr. Maple 🍁 All of the plants I ordered from them are great and I love the huge variety they offer. Other nurseries have sent me poorly packaged tiny little plants with broken branches and were significantly more expensive.

You can put in the notes when u order an item that you want to hold for shipping on a certain date. Also if u call the office they can give u a code to apply at checkout to pay for shipping later on if you’re building a big box order to ship all at once. No need to wonder about the Seiryu in full sun in 7b. It’s one of the 70 plus cultivars I have planted on my property and I’m telling you it’s bullet proof. I also am in 7b. I have never seen any scorch. I mean zero. It’s like Mikawa yatsubusa and shishigashira (lions head). Those are the other most sun tolerant in my collection. Grows wild too. New limbs always sprouting up throughout the year. Trunk diameter has nearly doubled in last two years.
