You guys look so bright and beautiful in your Japan pictures! No doubt you enjoyed some of the best food while there. My fav for sure. Nice education in this video. If only we could see our own #japanesemaples in their 400th year! Thank you gentlemen.

I received my dragon master from you guys on monday.. It is pretty big, a bunch of side branches, and tall too.. 3 feet and 6 inches... I got lucky.
@graysonschissler62152 жыл бұрын
Mine is huge as well although the branches are a little thin for how long they are. Think I'm going to run mine up a trellis and do the same with golden falls. There's some Italian term for doing this with trees.. I can say it but sure as heck can't even attempt to spell it.. Also need to pick one to topsy turvy.. The nakakamado weeping I received was also massive. A lot of my trees are moving to 3 gallons as soon as the temps cool down just a bit.

@@graysonschissler6215 I just rewatch the last tuesday video.. I believe I received the dragon master the one Tim was holding, the one with blue shirt.. lol.. I check out quickly and done in 2 minutes.. Nakakamado is the first grower too. I have mine at 8 am - 12 pm sunlight. it is getting taller. hope your dragon master and nakakamado grow big and tall as well.. maybe update once in a while..

Yeah I don't do social media but I need to change that so I can share some tree and garden pics with the community.. I'm obsessed enough it's a shame not to at this point. But I've had Nakakamado for a few months now and it's doing extremely well. Super tough, it keeps pushing the stake over trying to start weeping. The new summer growth is gorgeous too and it seems to be my most sun tolerant weeper out of the 10ish ive got from Mr Maple. Glad you got a good one! Would love to see your collection if you have pics anywhere

Great video. With all of the various leaf shapes, you guys really should do a video about all of the leaf shape categories and a JM that is a good representation of that leaf shape. Keep up the great work! #japanesemaples

It is basically a Japanese version of Schweineschnitzel except that they are not thin and instead a high quality thick cut. There is a great place at the Fukushima station on the West side (near shinkansen gates) at the bottom of the escalator とんかつ新宿さぼてん福島店, it is worth a stop to pickup one of their Tonkatsu to go and eat on the train. I have actually made quick stops where I get off the train and grab the next one so I can pick one up. Although getting it to go you do miss out on the staple all you can eat cabbage.
