Well done. Opening day was worth the wait ... and bodes well for the rest of the season. A significant drop in boat traffic and fishing pressure will give fish stocks a year off. Can't hurt.

Opening day was tough inshore man. Looks like the weather the night before and morning of, chased em all out for a few days. It was definitely a grind.
Great videos - thanks! Would love to know, exactly, where you are fishing on these different days. I am sure you like to keep things to yourself but the region or area would be nice. Go to NC beaches alot and some things look familiar.

Dumb question: at 2:40, how do you determine a choke point along the jetty wall? It is bottom contour? Maybe it's the go-pro's lens, but it didn't look like you were super close to the wall.

Fishing pressure is way down. Charters got a late start and they can only take out about 1/3 due to social distancing. Some have increased trip price to make up the difference and that turned off some customers. I see a lot more pleasure boaters where I'm at in Old Saybrook CT
@willriley16194 жыл бұрын
I think a lot of people went gigging before daylight on opening day. The boat traffic does suck on the weekend. I don't even bother fishing Wrightsville beach during the weekend unless I'm going offshore. I've been fishing the river more on weekends you can still catch good flounder in there and you don't have to be close to the inlet to do it. Just a little more places to go to get away from everyone in the river
