I agree, I’m 33 and was born and raised here and have fortunately always had my lifetime sportsman’s license, I saw you the past couple day’s near the inside of jetty rocks, I just got a boat and have only been catching sharks, sting rays, lizard fish, sea bass and oyster toad fish, I think I need to get closer to the jetty, do you have a advice for me to catch more dinner? If you ever want to make a video on my new boat I’d be down to go learn and record you fishing, I have a 2005 sea hunt victory 225 dual console with all the basics and a few decent rods for jetty fishing and a little offshore and the motor is a 2019 with 60 hours on it, dbpeterson7@yahoo.com is my email,

Elias, the best N.C. Pompano run usually occurs from late September to November. A few can be caught all summer but nothing like the fall. Years ago I saw a fishing show that featured a guide who put clients onto pompano with artificial lures somewhere down there in Wilmington. I think they were fishing somewhere on the inside.

Did you or can you do a video on your truck racks and getting the old town on there? Looks like you can fit 2 pretty wide kayaks up there? Also do you have or could you do a video on your single rig jigging technique? I just started getting into Kayak fishing. Also have never done well jigging and am determined to get it nailed down. Either way, Thank you for the cool videos!

I had just seen some newer blade baits from Rapala with like 5 holes on top, I guess if you tie on the first hole you get more depth an the last hole towards the tail you get to fish or troll shallower water, but definitely gotta check the goofy jigs out maybe I’ll get lucky over here in the northeast, take it easy E an keep em coming 🎥 🤙🏼🤙🏼

@@EliasVFishing yeah but say you're in Masonboro Inlet, not hitting on much or the boat traffic is ridiculous, you could be at CB inlet in 10 minutes, not hitting much there, be at Hewletts creek in 5 mins, then check Banks Channel 5 mins away. Kayaks have their place but if want to go from plan a to plan b, plan c, then back to plan a after the crowd leaves, it's much easier in a boat.
