Love your videos, man. I don't know why on earth watching a man open crusty old cans is so interesting 😂 it's cool seeing how designs looked in times I didn't exist in, and how it changed over the decades. Even the lack of background music makes it more immersing, and just love how chill your whole channel is. I also have severe anxiety and these videos are a great escape on sleepless nights or warding off daytime worries. Drown my fears in 50+ year old peas lmao

Another fascinating video! (One thing about that Libby’s can though: I believe it’s from the seventies, as that’s when that particular logo was used. Also, Libby’s made a variety of those small-sized empty cans (without any sort of weight information). I think they were sold/offered as kid-sized pretend groceries.)

I found out recently that the white pepper i'd been using has been out of date since 2007. I somehow didnt notice the large barcode on it and how the brand just doesnt exist anymore. The packaging looked like something you'd see in stores today despite it being around 15+ years old. One thing i enjoy about looking at old food packaging is the designs, sometimes you can just tell by the pictures what decade theyre from, some designs even feel like they still fit in our current time.
@vglycorpse20012 жыл бұрын
Omg A lot of the spices in my family's cabinet is also like 12+ years old, but nobody seems to care and no one has died yet 😂 I don't think the dates affect them that much tbh.
@Nedula0072 жыл бұрын
Dry spices usually hold up for a long time. I think the only thing that happens is after a while it will lose flavor or get slightly stale. Especially dry basil, oregano.

I love the clean-looking graphics on the Libby's Tomato Juice can; it is surprisingly modern in style. I have only ever seen Hunt's brand tomato products (sauce, paste, etc.), never fruit cocktail -- or anything else. The recipe on the cranberry sauce can does _not_ look tasty: cranberries, steak sauce, and mustard 🤢

Regarding cleaning out mold filled cans, what about mixing in some white vinegar? I've read that it is pretty good at killing mold and mildew, which if true cements itself as the proverbial "duct tape of cleaning products"

You were able to flush that toilet a second time so quickly without waiting for it to run? (by run, I mean the sound it makes until the tank finishes refilling) Does that toilet not run at all, or did you just edit out the running time from the video? I know the newer high efficiency ones with the pressure flush mechanism, don't take as long for the tank to refill, but you usually still have to wait at least some amount of time before you can flush those again, right?
