The weird goomba guy is called a chao. They are from the chao garden in the Sonic Adventure Games, in the games they have a little pet simulator minigame and they are the cutest thins ever

As someone who has the official one as long as you are patient it shouldn’t take too long (you need patience tho as the brown squares are each 2 peices so they take a while if you don’t get the hang of it because they are awkward)
