My favorite set was team Rocket. I always enjoyed the variations of the art work and seeing a different side of the pokemon I have grown to love. I can't imagine how difficult this may be to do in today's market. Thanks for your contributions to the hobby and keeping us entertained with videos like this

Honestly, my favorite set has to be Black and White Plasma Freeze. This set back in 2011 really kicked off my love for Pokémon card collecting. Not to mention the blue borders on some of the cards are a nice touch to the set as well.

Celebrations is my personal favorite! I’ve never opened them myself (though I hope to change that soon) I really loved the era where all the TCG community was opening them. Plus you can’t beat the reprints of vintage cards!!

I remember opening the EX series a lot as a kid. By far my favorite with the reverse holos. I'm very fortunate that found the binder with 500 cards stuffed in it. I'm trying to find decent deals on anything from that generation.

Looking further in the video, the HG/SS combo cards like Lugia full art.. MAN what a masterful bit of art they were! I remember buying like 4 packs and completing Ho-oh with the two halves. Never knew what tey wer worth, sold them a decade or so ago. Man. Fun times.

I always thought that the Team Rocket original set was amazing. Getting to see all my original favourites in new, darker cards was just a really cool addition. I still have quite a few cards from that set which I treasured. Never was able to get many booster packs when I was younger, but my sister ended up giving me Dark Weezing and that card, however now well-played, stayed with me every day for almost a year before my dad was able to buy me a binder for my cards.

I really like your videos Leonhart! Videos like this helped get me back into Pokemon card collecting after 20+ years off the scene. Favorite card set has to be the original. I grew up at the right time and was lucky enough to experience the first packs. So it's just very nostalgic for me. Cherish the time with your daughter as much as you can. They grow up incredibly quick unfortunately. Hope all is well! Thank you for the awesome content as always!

It has to be the jungle set for me. I personally feel that it really took the pokemon cards to another level and the attention it got from that set boosted the price and attention towards the previous sets as well.

Base set will always be my favorit. Not because of the value it has now, but it was the first time ever I collected something. I was a kid with a goal, getting the entire set. I never completed it and now I don't have the money to even try. But looking though the cards sometimes gives me that warm nostalgic feeling of going to the store with your mom, buying a few packs and getting that card you needed. Man, I miss those times.. 😅

What a pack opening! Favourite packs for me are the Ruby and sapphire packs! Best pull I ever did was when I was 12 and I opened a first edition charizard, would take it to school with me everyday and then I ended up trading it for about 60 cards that were fake. Young and silly 😭

Other than all the Neo sets, I love the original 3 too. But I think that for me the modern evolving skies takes it for best art work and I opened 4 booster boxes when if first came out for normal prices. Pulled so good it was the best time I’ve had opening packs.
