I've always loved how John Connor scans the environment like a machine, to me it portrays that he's spent so much time with them and got to know them on such a level that he can think like them on the battlefield. He cannot be afraid and he has to stay functional. Perfect casting of John as well, looks like a true battle hardened leader.

All the soldiers were shown as cold-blooded professionals ready to die without hesitation on the orders of the commander for the sake of all mankind. Motivated and professional soldiers are a frightening force. Such soldiers will not be hysterical or commit "stupid heroism", the soldiers will fight extremely effectively and coldly.

🔔(1)THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God is saving man from the imminent destruction of this old world" (God has appeared in all the Churches. The Spirit speaks; He is the burning fire, majestic, and judging. The Son of man was witnessed, and God Himself was manifestly manifested. Will you all understand and see what you have gained-nothing but My judgment? God appeared to be all powerful in one Spiritual body, without the slightest flesh or blood joining it from head to foot. He is above the universe, sitting on a glorious throne in the third heaven, ruling over all things! Satan is under My feet; it's in the abyss! The days will end; all things in this world will come to nothing, and all things will be born again. remember this! Don't forget it! Heaven and earth will pass, but My words will! Wake up! Repent and salvation is near! However, you reject Me and you don't know Me. My sheep hear My voice, yet you are still reluctant! Your heart is hardened, Satan has blinded your eyes, and you cannot see My glorious face-you are pitiful! What a pity! The seven Spirits have been sent in front of My throne to all the corners of the earth and, I will send My messenger to speak to the churches. My words will appear to you at any time, and they will open the eyes of your spirit so that you can see all the mysteries of the spiritual realm and see that the kingdom is in the midst of man. Enter the shelter, and all grace and blessing will come to you; famine and plaque will not move you, and wolves, snakes, tigers, and leopards will not hurt you.) Almighty God said GOD has APPEARED in ALL the CHURCHES.The SPIRIT SPEAKS; He is the BURNING FIRE, MAJESTIC, and JUDGING. He was the SON of MAN, WHO was CLOTHED to the FEET, and had a BRIDGE of GOLD on His BREAST. His head and His hair were white as white wool, and His eyes were like a flame of fire; His feet are like fine bronze, as refined in an iron furnace; and His voice is like the rushing of many waters. 🙏 And in His right hand were seven stars: and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword: and His face was like the sun shining brightly! The SON of MAN was WITNESSED, and GOD HIMSELF was MANIFESTLY MANIFESTED. The GLORY of GOD is COMING OUT, SHINING BRIGHT as a HOT SUN! His GLORIOUS FACE FLASHES in dazzling LIGHT; WHOSE EYES DARE to TREAT Him with RESISTANCE? The FIGHT LEADS to DEATH! 🙏 Not one bit of mercy is shown in whatever you think in your heart, whatever word you speak, or whatever you do. Will you all UNDERSTAND and SEE what you have gained---nothing but My JUDGMENT? 😪 CAN I KEEP it WHEN YOU DON'T TRY to EAT and SWALLOW My WORDS, and INSTEAD NOTHING--you are DISTURBING and DESTROYING the ESTABLISHMENT? I will not be slow in dealing with this kind of person! If your behavior worsens, you will be consumed by fire! 😪 GOD APPEARED to be ALL POWERFUL in ONE SPIRITUAL BODY, without the slightest flesh or blood joining it from head to foot. He is ABOVE the UNIVERSE, SITTING on a GLORIOUS THRONE in the THIRD HEAVEN, RULING OVER ALL THINGS! The universe and everything is in My hands. WHEN I SAY it, IT will HAPPEN. WHEN I DEDICATE, that is WHAT HAPPENS. Satan is under My feet; it's in the abyss! 🍁 WHEN My VOICE GOES OUT, HEAVEN and EARTH WILL PASS AWAY and COME to NOTHING! I CHANGE ALL THINGS; it is an immutable truth that is absolutely right. I have overcome the world, even all evil. I Am SITTING here TALKING to YOU, and EVERYONE WHO has an EAR SHOULD LISTEN and ALL THAT LIVES SHOULD RECEIVE IT. The DAYS WILL END; ALL THINGS in this WORLD WILL COME to NOTHING, and ALL THINGS WILL be BORN AGAIN. REMEMBER this! DON'T FORGET IT! There can be no ambiguity! HEAVEN and EARTH WILL PASS, but My WORDS WILL NOT! LET YOU LEAD AGAIN: Don't run for nothing! WAKE UP! REPENT and SALVATION is NEAR! ☀️ I HAVE APPEARED in the MIDST of YOU, and My VOICE has SOARED BEFORE YOU; IT CHALLENGES YOU DAILY; IN FRONT and FRESH and NEW EVERY DAY. YOU SEE ME and I SEE YOU; I ALWAYS TALK to YOU, and WE WILL FACE to FACE. HOWEVER, YOU REJECT Me and YOU DON'T KNOW Me. 😪 My SHEEP HEAR My VOICE, yet you are still reluctant! You hesitate! Your heart is hardened, Satan has blinded your eyes, and you cannot see My glorious face--you are pitiful! What a pity! 😪 The SEVEN SPIRITS HAVE BEEN SENT in FRONT of My THRONE to ALL CORNERS of the EARTH and, I WILL SEND My MESSENGER to SPEAK to the CHURCHES. ☀️🙏 I AM HONEST and HONEST; I Am the GOD who SEARCHES the DEEPEST PART of the HUMAN HEART. 🙏 The HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKS to the CHURCHES, and My words come out of the will of My Son; everyone who has HEARING will LISTEN! 🙏 All living must receive! JUST EAT and DRINK them, and DO NOT DOUBT. ALL WHO SUBMIT and OBEY My WORDS WILL RECEIVE a GREAT BLESSING. There will certainly be new LIGHT, new LIGHT, and new KNOWLEDGE to ALL who earnestly SEARCH for My face; everything will be FRESH and NEW. My WORDS will appear to you at any TIME, and they WILL OPEN the EYES of your SPIRIT so that you can SEE all the MYSTERIES of the SPIRITUAL realm and SEE that the KINGDOM is in the MIDST of MAN. 🙏 ENTER the SHELTER, and ALL GRACE and BLESSING WILL COME to YOU; FAMINE and PLAGUE WILL NOT MOVE YOU, and WOLVES, SNAKES, TIGERS, and LEOPARDS WILL NOT HURT YOU. If you read the original screenplay (not the shooting screenplay) or read the novelization, in this scene, what John Connor is really looking at, are the machines starting to shut down, because the resistance had just taken the location where "Skynet" was housed and destroyed the central command (since the time travel additional scenes were cut, Cameron decided to reframe this scene to look like Connor was just observing the battle). Right after this, Connor organizes a trip to that location, because, of course, he knows it's now time for the next step...to send Kyle Reese back in time. It's too bad Cameron had to cut it, because it was a really interesting scene. John Connor knows everything in this scene. He knows the time travel equipment exists, he knows he's going to go to where it's housed, and he knows he's not only going to send someone back in time to stop the Terminator...he's going send his father, Kyle Reese, back. Then, after sending Kyle Reese back (and admitting to one of his top lieutenants the the man, Kyle Reese was actually his father), he knows he's going to reprogram a T-800, and send it back, as well. All of that is known by Connor, when he's looking through those field glasses. It's really quite a cool realization. The novelization also explains why Kyle Reese kept Sarah's picture in his pocket. Sarah was almost as legendary as her son, and members of the resistance kept her picture as an inspiration (Kyle Reese was given the original, by John Connor when he met him briefly, and Kyle Reese mentioned his name to him). In the novel, we learn that even John deferred to Sarah Connor. That's how she died. John Connor tried to order her out of the fight, but Sarah went her own way, and was killed leading a convoy transporting weapons. What a great two movies. Cameron is a creative genius.

This was actually anothet weak spot of the movie, that removed the fear-introducing realism. For anyone with even slight knowledge on electronics, it is obvious the molten alloy would have overheated and fried T-800 CPU. It was also contrary to what was established in T-1: when they set T-800 on fire he fell and shut down for a couple of minutes untill the fire burned out. I watched T-1 in the 90ies as a kid and having some experience with PCs I thought that T-800 did an emergency shutdown, as an imscription on mu PC's motherboard claimed it has the ability to emergency cut off the power if overheats. Open your PC's case and plug off the CPU fan's power, you modern PC will use dynamic clocking to decrease frequency to decrease the heat production. At some point your PC will come to a complete halt. Plug the fan again and it will slowly begin increasing frequency and programs will gradually start running again.

@@miamitten1123 I played it recently, it's a treat for any Terminator fan and absolutely nails the feel of the Future War. But don't go in expecting a perfectly-polished modern Terminator game - it is the very definition of mid-shelf. Definitely higher than indie in terms of resources and team size but absolutely made on a budget, and it's not like every minute of the game is a rip-roaring robot kill-fest. I've never played a Fallout game before, but even I can tell that this is basically a small team trying to make a Fallout game in the Terminator universe. Despite their lack of resources, love of the source material is injected everywhere. While a lot of the specific character stuff can fall a little flat, the overall plot is very in tune with the first two films and manages to not screw up T2, unlike every film sequel since. It was also savaged by critical reviews for a dated engine that made it seem like a game transported from 2012 and rather stale mechanics like basic crafting and lockpicking. I'll admit that I wasn't exactly having the time of my life looting resources and rather awkwardly stealthing around, but jeez guys, maybe recognize genuine and largely successful effort every now and again?

You all doesn't understand the salvation well they already explained salvation was set during early years of the war where the resistance is still healthy they have air support high command and base that are not being overrun yet plus they are still using man made weapons and john is not overall commander of the resistance yet. The future war in T1 to T3 is already in the late years of the war where they can no longer go out in day time t-600's are mass produced no more air support, skynet using plasma or laser technology. And the resistance manages to reverse engineer their weapons this explains why the resistance had plasma rifles and so on stop hating salvation because it doesn't look like this you guys needs to understand the timeline it was set

A robotic boot smashing a babies skull while it is ruthlessly hunting anymore potential "parents" Not emotionally or ideologically exerting power for powers sake which is a human trope but going beyond that and demonstrating that the boot doing the stamping in the future won't even be human. And mass eradication of the species is the Skynet answer to that human prediction.

It would never leave him, and it would never hurt him, never shout at him, or get drunk and hit him, or say it was too busy to spend time with him. It would always be there.
