Embark on an incredible journey as we breathe new life into an abandoned gold mine in this captivating KZbin video! Join Jason as he kicks off the process of reopening the mine for the season, focusing on ensuring safety and security by timbering up the portals.
In Part 1 of this series, witness the transformation from standing trees to sturdy timbers that will fortify the mine's entrances. Jason takes you through each step of this intricate process, beginning with the careful harvesting of trees from the surrounding area. These trees are then skillfully transformed into quality lumber and robust timbers at the sawmill.
As the timber makes its way to the mine, Jason's expertise shines as he meticulously timber up and rehabilitate the old portals, ensuring they are stable and safe for the upcoming mining operations. This foundational work is crucial for not only preserving the mine's history but also preparing for a prosperous gold production season.
Stay tuned for the upcoming videos in this series, where we'll dive deeper into the revitalization of the abandoned gold mine. Witness the intricate steps, dedication, and passion that go into breathing new life into a treasure trove hidden beneath the earth's surface.
Join us on this remarkable journey of revival, where old meets new and history meets the future. Don't miss out on the exciting updates to come as we continue to document the process of rekindling the golden spirit of this abandoned mine.

Golden work Jason Gave me a Major Flashback! 😳 In 1995 I bought a portable band sawmill. We owned 40a in Harrietta Michigan with beautiful 24”~36” Red Pines. I logged off, sawed/dried enough to build a 24’ x 64’ two story timber frame barn. I did this work By My Self 99%😅 It was a super fun Bucket List project. I really enjoyed the sawer’s grumblings about the dirty logs. 😂 The dirty log issue I solved by making a log sleds. Really interesting video. Thanks Jason Peace Prospector Tripp
