Pretty sure all the human parts of the doll went away when chucky died. At the end of childs play 1, you hear the doll turn back to its original form by the voice.

I like how in the opening shot of the doll eye,you can see an actual hole in the false pupil,representing while it is far dormant,Charles' soul still resides within. The iris has reverted back to it's abstract pattering but it still retains depth.

Not sure there needs to be anything. The very first time he died, he transferred his soul to a doll. It worked then. He had nothing tying himself to it. It's possible it could work so long as you know who you're calling and how you're doing it.

One of the best opening scenes. Showing a closeup of Chucky's remains from the first film. Him being rebuilt again. Also one of my favorite sequels. They don't make movies like this anymore. People don't believe in possessions, ghosts, spirits. That's why Andy's being blamed for.

I was intrigued they brought this repair scene back in Bride of Chucky. Here, the Good Guy doll is still at its peak with the company able to save itself from negative publicity. Bride of Chucky came off where he was repaired with a new look hinting that the company was dead after the events of Child's Play 3.

In cult of chucky they say they sell them at hot topic so either the comoany swapped to other toys and brought back the goodguys after they became related with mass murders or sold off the good guy brand to another company. The way they look in cult and show im guessing the company just brought them back as a novelty toy

What’s funny in a way about this scene is that none of the workers not only didn’t question why Chucky was burned but that one worker who was taking out the burned material of Chucky’s teeth somehow didn’t acknowledged the fact that the teeth made noises like real ones since fake teeth wouldn’t sound like that.

It's a combination of sweet and menacing. The darker moments come when Chucky is burned, and the light moments come when he is clean. The shots of him being fixed with a new coat of paint and plastic, is like them showing innocence- which is what the Good Guys dolls are supposed to be, until a monster like Chucky takes control.

Chucky was missing his left eye at the end of CP1. All they could salvage was the metal skull? What about the burnt torso with a human heart and a bullet lodge in it? There's no blood, so I guess his soul was still in every bit of his body and he just needed some Dr. Frankenstein electricity to spark him back to life.
