Most of us buy for the “look”. The feel (although disappointing to some) is secondary. The dolls don’t mind as much as we do.

I absolutely love these dolls! They are both gorgeous. I disagree with some comments regarding the Swarovski Crystals. I think the more the more beautiful and classy they look. The outfit is beautiful, the jewelry is gorgeous. Obviously these are collectible so definitely they are going to have more things on them. The jewelry is gorgeous too. The shoes are beautiful. Super gorgeous super classy super elegant. Kris I agree with you, they needed more crystals on them. As for the tiara you have to put it deep down in her hair and it will not come off at all. I purchased both and I’m In love with them both. Yes the bottom part of the dress is a little plastic like, but it does not take away from the dolls at all. Thank you for sharing. ❤

Thanks for the review. I do not collect the Holiday series. I do like the Claudia version but I am waiting for them to release the Claudia FM as a TM or maybe, as an option for the CYO generator.

Yes. I wouldn't pay extra for the dress and crystals. I do like the Claudie face mold and love the curly hair. The lighter skin tone is nice, too. I waited for AG to release the new line up (Sept 2022) of TM dolls to get a Corinne face mold. I don't like colored hair and Corinne has the turquoise streak, TM #124 doesn't. I don't own Claudie. It took me a while to like her but I was trying to avoid the curly hair due to the difficulty of keeping it looking nice (my 1st Evette is a hot mess, the second one bought on sale for $65 still has her hairnet on) makes me avoid really curly hair but since I collect at least one doll from each face mold I'll wait for a TM doll with this face mold, skin tone, and hair. P.S. My mistake. I just checked. I do have a Claudie mold. I ended up getting Tiana last spring for free with rewards and discount. I don't buy the Disney Princesses (not getting into collecting them) but she was free and has the Claudie face mold. That was the whole reason for ordering her. Torn about restyling her hair but if I get a TM Claudie FM then I'll leave her hair up.

I don’t think the Claudie mold will be in the CYO generator for many years to come if at all. They only have the original molds in the CYO, the newest mold they have in CYO is Jess and she’s from 2006.

Both dolls are absolutely gorgeous but I’m not a huge fan of pink nor am I a fan of the dress. But I may end up buying one of them anyway because I really love the dolls!

The fabric is nylon net and the under skirt is fabric they use for slips under a skirt that needs fullness. It is a lot of Barbie type fabrics. I have the doll and I sew so that is my guess for the fabrics but to be honest I don't sew with those materials so it is an educated guess. Thank you for sharing.

I sew, too, and refuse to call this material "fabric". It's plastic and I hate that trend that everything is plastic now. Such a waste putting expensive Swarovski crystals on plastic material. I also hate mesh "fabric", glitter and sequins on everything. That is what AG makes because it sells to little girls but being older and a collector I just don't buy most of these new releases.

@@djg5950 That is true, really it reminds me of Barbie doll fabrics. I had rewards so it was not so painful and I have plans for the doll. Like anything else if it does not give you joy and make you happy I think its best to move on. But I do agree with you totally. Thank you for your honest response.

I saw a comparison photo on Instagram. Tiana has a strong orange undertone and this doll has a neutral undertone. She’s very pretty, I ordered her for Christmas!

I love her hair and the jewelry. The dress isn't really that exciting to me, and AG doesn't ship collector dolls to Canada anyway. I just unboxed around a dozen Barbies and MGA dolls, and some were even worse than this. When I got to the regular AG dolls, it was a breeze.

It's a waste to add all those Swarovski crystals to such cheap material that they make the dresses out of now. Get it too close to heat and it will melt into a big glob of plastic. I think a few people are going to be disappointed several years from now if they don't take care with these dolls. The material won't hold up in the future unless stored carefully.
