It always amazes me that others did Henry’s dirty work and they got the axe, while Henry escaped the wrath from his fellow citizens. Disgusting.

A lot of Game of Thrones was based on the War of the Roses which finished just a few generations before Henry VIII. Stark and Lannister were York and Lancaster.

Why not just title the video Thomas Cromwell - Henry VIII's Chief Minister? I knew there wasn't going to be an opening of a coffin.

@@johnjamieson7087Interesting. I was not aware of this relationship. "Crum Bhéal" is Irish/Scotch gaelic for "Curved mouth" as in 'mustach' and was currupted to 'Cromwell' - I think. Cromwell graced us with his presence here in Ireland but he didn't turn out to be the most popular visitor. He slaughtered the town of Droheada but it is true that a large number of his English enemies went across the Irish sea to that town. The town of Clonmel held out against him for a long time and in the end Cromwell offered the Irish garnison freedom to march, in full regalia, to the south coast and from thense to to France.
