So much hate for Scarlet & Violet; the negativity for this set in particular with a lot of KZbinrs is really off putting. This is the new generation for all these new Pokémon fans and everyone seems to be dropping the ball? Just an observation. Personally I’m super excited for the Ogerpons, The Sushi Monster himself as well as some fan favourites like Eevee, Chansey & Sunflorer.

It might help to play the video games. Ogerpon is like, the cutest and most story-relevant non-Box Legendary we've gotten in recent generations. She instantly became part of my top favorite Pokemon after playing the DLC

Ogerpon is one of the cutest Pokémon ever, if youve not played the game its understandable though. In the games its hated by the village for a false reason and she is often the target of bullying by other Pokémon.

Yeah not feeling this set unfortunately. Only card I like is the Greninja SIR and based on pull rates it doesn’t seem worth it to try to pull it. So I’ll just buy that single and save up for the next set lol

This wasn't too bad a rip but I was really hoping you'd catch that new set magic like you did many times in the past. The ETB design is gorgeous. The color scheme and the way they did the foiling really makes it pop. Just an FYI but the Iono premium collection boxes and... I think the Armorouge collection box has non-matte sleeve in 'em. I dunno, man. If I'm completely honest, you looked like you were just going through the motions this rip. Didn't look like you were having any fun or really enjoying the rip. I personally think this is a solid set. Beautiful art throughout and there's a ton of really nice IRs and SIRs. I also think Ogerpon is a pretty cool new mon. Kinda neat how it can be 4 different types. Probably an unpopular opinion, tho. A lot of people are hating on this set.

I’m a fan since the day blue and red released in the west and played and collected every generation ever since and ogerpon is among my top 5 pokemon. Is so quintessentially Pokemon that it confuses me that you say it doesn’t feel like a pokemon, yet your chase card is a Naruto frog with shuriken weapons. I really don’t get why people stay in the hobby if the cant identify with the franchise, most of them calling the newest pokemon lazy and only clinging to nostalgia. The first gen of pokemon wasnt good, it was actually quite bad compared to today and pokemon just gods better and better and more detailed and intricate with designs. Of course no one needs to like every single one, but if pokemon is your hobby you should at least celebrate the majority and be happy about the franchise still moving strong. I’m sorry for the rant, but it just really annoys me because it feels like poketubee that have this approach just want a slice of the cake while actually spoiling the hobby for real fans. Also SV is so much better than the whole of SWSH ever since base set. The first sets of SWSH were trash and the AR/SIR since SV Base are even stronger than crown zenith.

I appreciate the feedback. I just collect what I like and I keep it as simple as that. I don’t agree with the term “real fan” or “fake fan”. You can appreciate a franchise without enjoying every aspect of it. I’m a huge Dune fan and I didn’t like the second part of the remake that much, but I’m still a fan. Same way I still enjoy Pokémon even if every single one they make doesn’t resonate with me. There’s plenty of early gen mons that I’m not a huge fan of but I still enjoy collecting. Overall, no one can “ruin” the hobby for you. You can always enjoy Pokémon however you want and it’s always going to be there no matter what happens on the internet. Truly, thank you for taking the time to watch the video.
