Chris you are one of the few operators I have seen that actually knows how to properly use a root rake. Most will drive those tines into the ground as deep as they can and all that does is roll more dirt. You on the other hand just skim along with maybe 2-4 inches in the ground and roll the pile. Rolling gets a lot more dirt out. A bit slower but the end result is way better. Good job sir!
@letsdig18
@letsdig18 Жыл бұрын
Yup, lots of trial and errors to learn. If it's dry and you roll it enough it will literally be just a pile of sticks

Chris was a VG operator on the 290 his Uncle had. It was slow in cycle time and just too big. The NEW 250 was a great replacement but no QC adapter so they could use tilt grading buckets or width of buckets. John's 220 does not have the ability to swap buckets and neither does the newest 160. I was surprised on the LONG Stick 250 for the dredging jobs. They have rented several Long Sticks for dredging jobs, when Chris nearly lost the 250 a couple of times. The only excavator with a QC attachment id the Yanmars. Chris had ideas and put them in place for his jobs and it shows. Even Mike, DP, realized a Haul Truck would be a great addition to his fleet.
