Chris, there is something strangely cathartic about watching you do this job (most jobs for that matter). I find myself able to really relax and even saw my heart rate drop about 10bpm. Next time I go to the doctor, I'm going to watch one of your videos so my blood pressure is real low. Thanks for taking the time to share your love of excavation with us wannabies!

He does do videos where he drives by a project he did previously. Thing is, he just doesn’t have the time to just drive around to all past projects. He’s been on KZbin for about 12 years. If you watch regularly, you will see follow ups. When he stops at a previous project it’s only because he is in the area.
@colt_walker

@shitloveaduck
@shitloveaduck Жыл бұрын
@@colt_walker - you know Chris works 12 - 14 hour days, goes home and edits every night which takes at least an hour, then he has his chores. The only reason he such immense content is because he works so d*mn hard. He just doesn’t have the time. Now he has made a decent level of success, but he also is cornered because if he takes time away from working to drive around the vast area he has done jobs to satisfy a small portion of his watchers, he gets a few more videos, but then is behind on his work and has to work longer hours to get MORE content to create videos, then you want him to drive around to those jobs,etc. the two small ponds were 4 hours from his home and he was staying at the owner/client’s property. That one way, then there’s the opposite way and so on. YOU may have watched all the videos, but apparently you haven’t grasped the work it takes Chris to GET those videos. He produces generally within a few (3 or 4) days of when the work was done. That’s exceptional and unheard of when producing videos daily. What you want is a little selfish. Before you go saying I don’t understand your circumstances, I actually do understand. I became I’ll with auto-immune issues that forced me into retirement. I was essentially bed ridden for a few years, but have fought back and can do a lot more. There’s still a few hours of rest in each day & that is how I keep up. I enjoy the time on KZbin with people like Chris. I went back and also watched all his videos. As well as quite a few other channels. No one,,, no one at all, has kept up like Chris has. If you haven’t learned that, it’s a fact. Please show some common sense in saying what you want without putting unreasonable demands on those that entertain us. No one else goes back on special trips to follow up the myriad of work they have done any different than Chris does. These guys work 320+ days a year! When they take a break, it’s for them,,, they need it. If you work 5 days a week each year you work about 271 days. These guys, especially Chris, have little time. He is booked right through to fall already. Sorry about the long comment, but maybe it will help you appreciate the actual work Chris generally does and how little time he has for himself and his family & friends. I am just trying to cut the poor guy a break!! Hahaha.

How many of my fellow subs had Tonka Toy and similar excavator equipment toys and played in the mud with them to the point our Moms would makes us hose off outside before being allowed to come in and take a bath to pass her clean enough instection before putting our PJ's on then to bed ? And here's Chris getting paid to play in the mud with real excavation equipment. We'd be on the shore in rapture deaf to Mom's calling us home as we watched. Heck, as an adult I'd be deaf to my Wife's yelling at me to get a Honey Do list item done while sitting in a camp chair with a cooler full of beer and munchies.
