Damn Renee, wasn’t expecting to cry this morning! I’ve been following you for such a long time and I related to you throughout all these years. I also didn’t want marriage and kids back then, but now I’m married to a wonderful person and planning for kids in the near future. So happy that you get to fully enjoy Christmas this year with your baby boy and family!

I enjoyed your video and your sharing, but I just wanted to mention that some people watching do not have their health- so when people say if you don't have your health you don't have anything... I always want to chime in and discourage that statement. You can have lost your health but still have many many things. I know you meant well, but just wanted to bring this into awareness. Many blessings to you during your holiday season!

I remember watching one of your videos talking a little about what was going on with Bryson in the NICU while pregnant with my twin girls. I knew the likelihood of them being preemie was high but I didn’t realize that they’d actually be born early. My babies spent 3 weeks and a day in the NICU. Definitely not as long as Bryson but this video brought up a lot of feelings I hadn’t thought about in a while. Seeing him so happy and what appears to be right on track gives me so much hope for my girls. Thank you for sharing a little bit about your experience 🩷 NICU babies are fighters 🥰

Awww the first shot of Bryson sleeping! My daughter sleeps like that too!! And yes, we are full on Santa here! No elf yet, she’s 20 months, so not aware of that yet. But we’ve seen Santa a few times this year and the last visit we had only a slight tear- no full on crying! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 It’s so magical to see all of it through their eyes! ❤ And so glad this is a better Christmas to celebrate him being healthy and happy!

Oh wow!!! My heart is full in a good way listening to your journey and seeing the blessed outcome. The tiny micro diaper…I just can’t fathom how one would put that on 😵💫. Our God is simply amazing. My experience with my son (not a preemie) absolutely pales significantly to yours and I didn’t have to leave behind in the hospital at anytime but the only contact for the first 3 days was to stroke his silky soft feet. It was at that time I realized how worried everyone was for us both. Fast forward to today ,31 years old and a crusty but gorgeous young man I certainly do no take anything for granted as I still reminisce with God on those early days. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing journey. Feeling all the love ❤️

My baby was in the nicu too only for a week but I get what you are saying. Also her first Christmas she was 6months old and didn't really care about toys. This year she is 1.5yrs old and it feels like the first Christmas because of what you said about their personality coming out. And it's my first kid too and I feel so excited and went over board as well.

I get what you mean about having a baby in the NICU. My son was only in the NICU for a week, so not nearly as long as Bryson, but it was the HARDEST thing to visit him and then have to leave him. My emotions were ALL over the place. I can’t imagine what that would have felt like on Christmas.

You made me remember the day we supposed to leave the hospital with Aurora (my daughter, baby girl) after giving birth. She was born the 21th December at 19:58 and we left the hospital the 23th after a test they do to the babys 48h after being born. It was around 9:30 pm when we went to the parking and we spent 30 minutes discussing about how we had to put her in the car seat. After we went out the parking, she sighed and closed her eyes. We thought "great!" She was sleeping so the travel back home (30 min by car) wouldn't have problems... 5 minutes later I noticed she didn't react to anything. I didn't noticed if she was breathing... Before 11pm I was going into hospital's emergency with my baby in my arms, crying and to nervous that I couldn't even talk to the administrative staff. We spent the night in a room with the machine that measures the heart beat rate and the oxygen blood level... Now, I can't talk about it without crying. So, I can't imagine what you were suffering during three months. I think I really understood my mother that night. Let's have a very good Christmas this year!!😊

My son was born at 26 weeks on 20th of October, it wasn't easy having a baby in the nicu. On his first feed he got an infection, then it was jaundice he had to stay under the jaundice light for 3 weeks. With God's grace it's been 3 weeks since he's home. I'm greatful for your vlogs you may not know how much you guide and advice some of us,looking at your son I have hope that my baby will grow up to be a healthy baby boy❤❤❤,ohh my God I have the same octopus toy😢😢😢

When Bryson gets older: saw this and think it’s so important. Big gifts should come from mom/dad, more inexpensive gifts from Santa… then in school when kids talk they don’t wonder why Santa brings some kids biggg expensive gifts and not others ❤

same story. I am a mother of 19-month-old twin boys. born in the 30th week of pregnancy - emergency cesarean section. long stay at NCIU. Even though they are beautiful, healthy and developing well, i still don't feel good. I think about this birth every day. 1.5 years have passed and I still wonder what it would be like if they were born on their due date.
