Hello everyone, thank you for joining me! I’ve had many of you asking and wanting to see what I bought in Paris - the answer is that I didn’t buy as much as I imagined. I wanted to share my experience of the poor exchange rate on GBP to Euro, so that any of you who might be planning a trip from the UK can be prepared. TBH, unless you’re wanting the white Chanel carrier as a momento, it’s not worth buying over there right now (if you’re exchanging from GBP) - cheaper in London! I hope this helps and is an enjoyable watch at the same time :) xx

I was blown away by how kind and helpful the SAs are at the Rue Cambon boutique. They altered a jacket for me and delivered it to my hotel the next evening. I was leaving Paris the following morning. My SA included many samples of fragrances/skincare, several blank greeting cards with Karl Lagerfeld illustrations too. Took pictures on the staircase, etc. Overall an unforgettable experience!

That's amazing! My dream is to visit the Rue Cambon location in the near-ish future (depending on the current pandemic). Chanel has always, in my opinion, had great customer service.

It's amazing that you appreciate and acknowledge people's customer service effort. I'm sure if they saw this video, they'd be super happy as well. If I remember correctly, near Bastille, there's a whole area of brand and boutique shops, I really enjoyed that area!

Hey Sophie! Take it from a Parisian here, if you want more "niche" designer or creator, there are two places you need to visit : - Le Bon Marché dept store which is actually the very FIRST Parisian dept store (the famous French author Emile Zola even wrote a book about it - kind of - called Lady's Delight / Au Bonheur des Dames, and I think you would really like it). I also mentioned this dept store in my tips to shop in Paris video! If tourists go to Galerie Lafayette, Parisians go to to Le Bon Marché ;) - Le Marais (neighborhood - métro ligne 1 Saint Paul - Le Marais). It's a very artsy neighbourhood and although you will find some famous designers, you will also find more niche brands. Also I think you were very lucky in the Chanel Cambon store because they aren't so generous when I go :p I even got my Classic Double Flap from there and no goodies, so they either changed their policy or you just were SO lucky :D Love your videos :)

I cannot express how much I love the white and black Chanel boxes and bags, for me, it's the equivalent of an Hermes Birkin or Kelly, getting an Hermes feels amazing (or Chanel) but a Birkin, Kelly or white Chanel box? Those boots are just woow!! Beautiful as always. Unfortunately there is no Chanel store in Hungary..and I can't even order..not even makeup :(.. My dream is to get a bag from Chanel, I am saving up for it. I really wish I have more money so that I can buy what I want. Seeing your videos really fires up the eagerness in me but unfortunately I have a lot of responsibilities to my family. Plus, a lot of people are in debt with me as I am helping them a lot. So in a way, it kind of affected my cashflow for me to even spend on myself. A little bit frustrated you know. This is such a gracious luxury haul, makes rather a refreshing change from some other channels. The appreciation of the sales assistant was lovely too; as someone who used to work in retail I can say that polite and friendly customers made such a difference to your day. My Chanel is currently limited to lipsticks - maybe a bag will be mine one day (but no time soon!)
