Aslam o alequm sir , if family's economy matters r looking grand fathers (nana dada) ,I mean couple don't share anything for running living expenses. In this case can we solve issues by voting or giving advise, shortly I want to say here husband and wife r not getting the lable of QAWAMEYAT so NASHOOZ issues will not held by couple after rejection any order ..... Can grand fathers interfere in couples life because they have got Qawameyat, Can couple reject interference of grandfathers in the situation of NASHOOZ . Sobia bhatti

The problem is limited understanding of Qawamun and Daruba has caused domestic violence to increase in Muslim communities and protect men by molvi ,sheikh and scholars. Marriage is a contract between two equal baliq parties so should be on equal rights and respect. Oppression of women in Islamic societies and second class citizenship is obvious by these wrong limited interpretations. The separation between two parties should be by mutual consent if not decided by the courts. Many decades in Pakistan women were deprived of consent human right and equal opportunities in the country. The father men are physically stronger and women can bear children physically different but mentally equal so each has their roles and responsibilities. Stop promoting male dominance and oppression of women.
