I love OpenSnow. I gladly pay for it so I can chase storms, since I don't live in an area with close-by skiing!

I use the paid version of open snow. I live about 2 hours from Tahoe and have learned a lot about the process of weather prediction from reading the posts of their local forecaster Bryan Allegretto. I like that he is honest about what he can't predict, for example storms that may brush by the lake and may or may not produce a lot of snow.

Have used for years. My main source for snow forecasts, wishcasts and post storm conditions. You didn't mention how great it is for those snow, weather and ski junkies who just love to track storms even if they're not able to hit the mountain the next 5-10 days!.

The free tier varies between which mountains it shows forecasts for.

Does OpenSnow work during the summer? I currently use Snow Forecast for weather/rain forecasting when I go out mountain biking in the summer. I like that it offers temps at different elevations. Never mind, just got the end, thanks for answering that! I may give it a go this time around. (I'll comment either way) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
