Hello, great tutorial, very useful. Have question. When I do rain, or smoke, it only works with my original rain drop, smoke cloud on the canvas. But I dont want i there. Do you know how to solve it?

I loved these tutorials! The rain and smoke one will be a huge help for when I finally start my animation series. I have a question though, I noticed when you previewed them the original image you drew (like the smoke and the rain) stayed still. How do you fix that? Also would you be able to change the size and position of the smoke? Like have it in the background for example.

Great help, thanks! Could you perhaps in a future video talk about the order of levels so that one level is not behind and not seen and how all that works for noobs like me! I thought i had the rain working but couldnt see it, untill I hid something else and then I saw it.... If that makes sense!

you have "smoke" in the thumbnail and I bet you, people are searching for this video specifically, and typing "smoke" and they're not finding it. maybe you should include that word in on the title of the video (tags matter, but they're not as powerful as the title.)

Whenever I try the shading via the matte in, the lines I drew using the brush tool are darker than the filled in portion. Essentially, the filled in portion turns translucent, but the lines don't. Do you know why this is?

I believe what you're seeing happens when you've got the shading layer selected. Select another layer and the translucence should not be visible.
