Love your work. Great little adrenalin boost to make us pay attention when the plane startled us in the beginning, cool intro to the characters, and it certainly left us wondering what next. Love the shadow and movement. Very cool style in your work and extra cool that you conceptualize and write it too. Looking forward to part 2!

Thank you for watching Daniel and your generous comments, they are much appreciated. I had a lot of fun doing it, and there’s much more to come, my main constraint is just finding the time to do it.

Thank you Russell. Yes he sure is a brave little character, but his bravery will be tested in this series....the second part is going to be a great test of his character.

Nice 👍 How many hours did it take you to make this?

Thank you 🙏😊 I think it took about 5 or 6 months in all, not full time, but I was busy with it a lot of that time. If I had the time to focus 100% on it, maybe it would have taken 1/2 that time, so around 3 months perhaps. It was over a year ago and I am faster now, but it would still take a few months, minimum, for me anyway.

The plane made me jump so much at the start 😹 unreal animation James! Backgrounds look great and your animations are full of effects now! Loved it!

Hahaha, brilliant! That was the plan, sucker the viewer into that peaceful opening scene, hopefully get the volume turned up, then BOOM! And game on! :-) Thank you mate for your kind words, I had so much fun doing it, but also a lot of technical issues, I have learnt a lot, it took 8 months from concept to this, had the hard drive failure along the way and numerous other issues that drove me nuts, but I eventually got it out. A few snags and jumps and bumps in it that I will iron out when I am putting it all together into the 15 minute short it's for, but for now I am just relieved to at last have it out, it was a long slow grind at the end... thanks for watching mate, I will start the next one in a few months time, I need to get back to some other stuff I got behind on. All my best to you guys "down under" :-)

@@jameswhitelawanimation Haha awesome! Good to hear. No worries, I enjoyed watching it. Yer, I totally understand. I have been struggeling to find time to animate at the momment. Thanks mate! I live is South Australia so the virus still hasn't quite got to my area...yet

@@tazcreations5057 Yup, time is a major issue when it comes to animating, isn't it - so much to do, so little time. I am glad you haven't been hit (yet) - we are losing people we know here, we lost another friend this morning, late 50's and one last week, mid-50s... so it's among us in a big way, scary. Take care mate, hope it misses your area.
