I get so excited every time I watch this! Just so grateful that Home Free stepped up on this and refused to back pedal when some people took offense and unsubscribed from them. I don't understand why we've lost the ability to debate openly without fear of someone being offended. If we all agree all the time, we become stagnant and there is no progress in any portion of our lives. If people don't challenge existing subjects, there will never be new medical or personal discoveries as examples. It's well past time for people to quit looking for a reason to nit pick every little thing to death. It's time to open lines of communication and realize how much better our lives can be overall.

When ever somebody gets offended by this cover i ask them to check out HF´s version of -- We Just Disagree [ and pay special attention to the video ] in my mind it shows how the world could be if we only would accept that we´re all different but we´re all human beings all of us deserve love respect and the oppertunity to lead a life that makes us happy

I love this song. When it comes up on my playlist I belt it out with them. Little old Lady going down the road singing like a crazy person must be a crackup! 😂🎶🥰

This little old lady does the exact same thing -- with her Husky mix in the back seat, singing right along with me! 😁

This was one of their 'quarantine' series (filmed separately during the Covid lockdown). I love this video - the song, the message of the song, the singing, harmonies, beatboxing - all of it! Thanks for playing this, your analysis & insights.
Soooo excited for this one! Can you believe they lost over 5K subs when they released this video? Good riddance! Love your Home Free reactions!’ Can’t wait for more!! ❤❤❤

Unfortunately, I can believe it. It's easy to see people as their occupations (in this case musicians) and not actually people with their own values, principles, morals, etc. It is a dangerous game to publicly and strongly stand for your values in such a vacillate age, even more so to challenge a particular societal status quo that your entire milieu supports. Being courageous enough to know that they might be resented for speaking their truth and showcasing their humanity outside their title as musicians is inspiring to say the least and definitely something I aspire to achieve myself; something I think we can all benefit from. Stepping outside ourselves to see the world from a varying perspective =)

@@goodeveningstoriesWonderful analysis. Yes,it was a challenge to some fans when this came out. I live in a diverse area. Different religions, different lifestyles, different skin colors, but all people trying to live in this world. We've shared cultural dishes. Cooking can bring people together. We all bleed red. Also as a hospital nurse,I've taken care of all life choices from convicted killers to archbishops. Love and empathy, even if it's not returned, is always my choice. Thanks again for your thoughts.

Some of the "fans" made ugly remarks on Tim's FB page and the arguments raged. Certain groups think that just because the guys sing a lot of country, that they align with a certain political group commonly associated with the southern part of the US. Tim told them to get the **** off his page and that he didn't need fans like them. (I was never so proud in my whole life!) Just a couple weeks ago, they posted a pic of them standing with Dr. Jill Biden at some musical thing, I believe. They stated they were honored to meet her. Well, it still seems that certain people made assumptions again, saying they would make sure no one in their family would ever listen to HF again, blah blah, that she was a demon, evil, etc... I'm sure the boys were devastated. 🙄

In concert, this sometimes feels like an ol' timey revival meeting, and sometimes it's just a bit scary. Here's a live version. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWPalaynlMxkoNU I love gospel Rob.

What a great message. I am tinted (indonesian blood) and know how it is to be judged and discriminated against on my skin color. I'm not like that at all. But to be honest many of my "kind" are doing exactly the same to the "whites". It doesn't matter if you are white, brown, black, yellow, gay, lesbian, fat, thin, etc. Appreciate and respect each other. Nobody is perfect. It's not an original but with the way Home Free thinks and their personalities it could very well be theirs. Because what good guys they are. And then they sing it so unbelievably. The two incredible low voices of Tim and Chance. The great background vocals and adlibs from Austin and (gospel-) Rob, the harmony is grazy. And Adam with the incredible sounds he makes in combination with the bass just sound fantastic.

This song is such an important message that is in its meaning timeless. In my opinion, when you can't agree on something then agree to disagree and move on to another topic. It's okay to have different opinions, as long as you allow others this courtesy, too. Home Free has several songs that speak about the problems in human society to which people turn a blind eye on. For example, bullying (Don't Laugh At Me) and the military/veterans (they sung God Bless The USA not only with the originals artist, Lee Greenwood, but also with the Singing Sergeants of the United State Air Force). I'm not an American (German in fact) and know no one in the military (of any country) but I know that soldiers are looked at mostly the same in many countries, which isn't very fair. Veterans have often times problems finding a job and, from what I've heard about American soldiers, oftentimes end up on the streets. Which is why I can still enjoy (most of) their patriotic songs (even though I wouldn't consider myself overly patriotic I am still glad to live where I live). Cut out the America and insert another country and it could fit just as well in most cases. They have also another song called Undivided (also a cover, I believe) with a similar message in it's lyrics to Everybody Walkin' This Song. It's worth checking out, too. I love the delivery of this song. It wouldn't have been as impactful if they had sung it in a higher register. And also the way they chose to sing their parts (both Tim's right in the face and Chance's somewhat softer approach) and their facial expressions as well (TIm's stare can be quite intense for sure).

Every time Home Free releases a song that openly calls for unity and tolerance, and acceptance of different viewpoints, there is a massive wave of whining and "you've lost all respect from me!" (Somehow, though, they seem to be still around to throw a bitching hissy fit the next time. Amazing, innit?) It is so sad that so many people are so deep into their echo chambers that any sound that threatens their comfy condition therein generates massive backlash.

Did you miss the frothing mouths when the band posed for a picture with Jill Biden recently? As several of us said when the worst of them started shouting at them, fans like that you just don't need.

All the extras were Home Free fans. So much work went into putting this together during quarantine. I love how all the different people represent the song in its essence. Home Free is amazing and I appreciate that they stand up for what they believe. I personally feel anyone who can’t appreciate this message are living very sad lives. Great reaction and yes I watched to the end 😁

They do this one live, too. It is powerful to hear those voices and those feet up on a stage proclaiming this. You might enjoy searching out a live clip. The one thing we need to have as a world is the Golden Rule. Virtually every religion in the world has its own version of it. I don't care what you call your god(s), or even if you have any. What I care about is how you treat others.

Such a great song and I agree. I like to talk to people who think differently and have completely different backgrounds than I do. It broadens my worldview, makes me think, especially if they completely disagree with me. I only draw the line at cruel ppl and massive idiots. You do you but in that case, please be yourself far away from me...
