As Ado`s big fan I must carry this faith to the masses. Most of her song, independently is it a cover or is it her own song sounds like banger. Lyrics also full of meaning I recomend to listen next if not listened yet: 1. "Unravel" - cover on TK`s song. Imho, cover better than original. And also live performance of this cover from her better than studio version 2. "Ussewa" - her debut song, when she was 17 (1 day before 18) 3. "Shoka" - song written by Ado. This song made me scare twice, firstly when I listen an see AMV, secondly when I check lyrics... "Ado are you ok?" - that's all I could think about at that moment. I think it is saddest and anxious song from her 4. "Rule" - maybe the most aggressive song from her 5. Entire album with song for anime One Peace film Red 6. "Rebelion" - AMV looks like entire anime 7. "Crime & Punishment" - cover on Shina Ringo`s song, that concentrate attantion on her vocal (your ears must be ready) 8. "Show" - demonstrate abilities to mix the different cultures and different genres into one song, like entire album 9. "Odo" - she tries on the role of DJ 10. "God-ish" - while listening firstly I thought that there ~10 vocalist 11. "I`m controversy" - playing around interesting sound effects 12 "Value" - collaboration with Apple (AMV on iPad), sounds pretty cool 13. "Kick back" - "cover" on Chainsaw-man op with surprise 14. "Aishite" - cover on Kikuo`s (Vocaloid) song. It is like "emotional roller coaster" 15. "Villain Utattemita" - a cover of a song with lyrics in English and Korean. 16. "Gira gira" - contains powerfull lyrics. I advice to watch AMVs firstly instead live version or advances subs version, because it contains a part of meaning and another detailes that can be lost in the live There are no all Ado`s songs present on the official channel. Ado is an anonymus singer she make some anime songs but this one is a cover from Shena Ringo. Other fact about her she is really joung and dosen't write her song she started at a plataform called niconico in the nintendo 3DS and was target by universal studios at the age of 17

You really should hear the living legend Sheena Ringo's version of the song. Although Ado does an excellent version of the song, I like Sheena Ringo's version better. As for Ado, who taught herself to sing, she has many good songs. I think 90% of what she does is over the top.

You were unusually looking at the Kanji lyric video. 21 year old Ado hails from Japan, with her real name and further background not publicly known. The name derives from a regular role in traditional Kroger theatre. We never get to see what Ado looks like; when I saw her live the lighting was such that during her 100 minute performance I could only see her silhouette. Many of Ado’s songs are reinterpretations of existing songs, as is Crime and Punishment- one of Japan’s best known rock songs and originally from Shiina Ringo. Please be mindful of referencing Japanese music in terms of western forms; there are often throwbacks to earlier Japanese music. Many reactors frame Japanese songs as being derivative from US or UK originals. For example Japanese band Maximum the Hormone are often compared to System of a Down and not vice versa

Love your analysis! But, no offense meant, not every Japanese song is from an anime. Especially this highly produced. Usually anime songs are sung by the voice actresses or not (yet) really known artists. It's only bigger studios and productions who know their show will be a success that are able/willing to hire singers/bands that are well known. I hope there'll be a time when people stop assuming everything out of Japan needs to be connected to Anime. The only songs Ado did for Anime so far are Kura Kura (クラクラ, from Spy x Family Season 2) and the complete soundtrack of One Piece Film Red because she's the singing voice of the character "Uta".
