Been enjoying Dimash practically daily for four years. I feel deprived without a daily session with his magnificent talent. This is one of my favorite performances other than the video of the first time he sang this song. It was spectacular!

Yes, the first part backstage is recorded. This opened Dimash’s Digital Concert during COVID. Fans paid a fee to Dimash and at a designated time the concert started and we were watching from all over the world at all different times of the day to see it as he was singing it. The best way Dimash could think of to unite his ‘Dears’ during a really isolating time. But as you said, once he hits the stage it’s all live.

I'm pretty sure that percussionist is the same one from Studio1, the group that made the hit of Sinful Passion about 28 years ago, and was there with the group playing for Dimash when he received aaallllll those flowers, at Sochi, I think. Lots of reactors comment on his single hit of the triangle in that song, and I think of that as the start of him being in Dimash's music team.

I strongly recommend you check out Igor Krutoy’s channel for the nighttime live concert performance of Ogni Pietra. The production and performance are spectacular. I suspect this being called digital, he may have taken the liberty of lip synching to his own recording. I subscribed and look forward to your future Dimash reactions

I believe this is the audio from his live concert years ago this digital concert, so he's not really singing there, i've seen alot of his live performances and sometimes he doesnt really sing, maybe he's not feeling like it this day, but its still recording from previous live performance
