By the way, the controller deadzone wasn't a bug. It was a intentional change that had unintentional effects. They also said they reverted it, but it clearly didn't work. They also clearly don't know what the problen actually is because they keep describing it as controller drift.

I think Ubi needs a bigger Dev team. Not that is a small team or anything it's just that they need more work on certain parts of the game but they are more focused on other parts of the game that aren't really of high concern.

I know it's an absolutely hot take but I don't mind this new season. The new map stadium 2020 is actually pretty good. I get that it's casual only but I don't mind. The recruit rework is a little lackluster I would have enjoyed it if they had x2 of whatever secondary utility they wanted. Like two bulletproof cameras two nitro cells etc etc. with some balancing tweaks to the secondary utility this could be an amazing change. stadium Bravo got reworked and they've said if the community reacts positively to it this season they might put it back in ranked so I would take some effort to learn it! On the condition you have all of the operators already and you have the credits on your account this season's battle pass is effectively free! You get 600 credits if you have all of the operators and you get 600 more from the battle pass meaning you're not spending credits if you 100% the battle pass and you already have the credits on your account. Marketplace will be coming out sometime next week and that's going to be very interesting for a lot of people! I have been using the beta for a couple of months now and I have to say it's a really fun feature! I really do hope friend to friend sharing sooner over later. Ubisoft outright said in not so many words that year 9 is effectively just filler while waiting for year 10 siege. Because it will be the one decade anniversary of the title! All in all I think ranked siege players need to understand that this is a more casual focused season and should probably go into it with the mindset that it's just more operation deadly omen. Which isn't a bad thing because that season was great!

@@Lagchunk to be fair I play on 5 5 dead zone anyway So I haven't noticed it. My entire season has been relatively bug-free. Although I know there's a lot of people that have been having really frustrating times of it. The only issue that I've had is my characters doing 360s on the operator showcase screen When editing uniform or headgear. That's kind of the problem though when games are developed on spaghetti string code. You touch one thing and something on the complete other end of the game breaks for no reason. And unfortunately that's just because siege was developed off of the back end of Patriots so it has a whole bunch of problems with the code.

Ex-Ubi QA Tester here. The testing we would do WAS throughout and we would point out every bug you guys have pointed out. But Execs would push for a faster release as is to get money in certain timeframes so "investors" could get their money's worth. Most, if not all, of these problems are on the Ceo, Guy. His way of thinking is faster something gets done, faster the money rakes in. He is completely incapable of thinking of things in the long term. He'd rather make money with quick cash grabs than make something great that will be enjoyed for years to come and be seen as a GOTY worthy. That is the main reason why I left the company. It's so depressing to have your work ignored and see games I wanted to see cherished nosedive and release in buggy unfinished messes. Have us work double just to do a stupid "one year fix" where we fix shit one year after release after the game has bit the dust. That's what happened with Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Another Ex-Ubi QA guy here. I agree. We have no control over what state the product comes out as individuals. If people are finding bugs(especially an obvious bug like the vulkan or the deadzone issues), Chances are we already have, and those bugs are already reported. The final decision to proceed is with the higher ups. That could be on whoever is leading the project or further upwards. They decide if the pending issues are "worthy" of a delay.

On top of a reworked operator coming later this year so depending on how different that rework is we essentially are only getting 2 new ops this year! I'm really hoping they go big for year 10

It's not just all that you said, it's matchmaking that has gotten way worse this season. I was a 1.1K/D player in Deep Freeze Emerald 4, dropped to 0.95K/D Emerald 3 in Deadly Omen and this season I'm just queueing with 3 stack Champions on the enemy team and 0.3K/D teammates like I'm able to carry the whole team. But of course, R6 Membership is more important, amirite?

The bugs are crazy this season. Flores’ gun disappears after using his explosive drones , matchmaking errors left and right, and me and my friends (all console NA ) somehow ended up on a West Europe server the other day. Plus idk ab yall but queue times are kind of insane rn . I tried to play ranked yesterday but was stuck queuing for 10 minutes, then i tried to play quick match and was queuing for 5-6 minutes 🤦🏻‍♂️

Been trying to spread the word, so the Flores bug occurs when a kill feed activity happens while on your explosive drone. You can get your gun model back by going into your standard drone then exiting.

Ubisoft is well known for having very buggy games. If it's a Ubisoft game you can expect that there are going to be frustrating, if not completely game breaking, bugs that are way more frequent than any other game company's games. So many issues with the season, but the new bugs are game BREAKING. The deadzone glitch make it so that i CANNOT shoot drones, cams, gadgets and make tight line ups. Not to mention, they have changed Audio (Night Mode) somehow and i cant hear anything properly. Everything sounds so hollow, echoey and bassy. I cant hear foot steps, gun shots drown out all sound, explosions might actually give me tinnitus or hearing damage. It is Unplayable. My extreme dislike for the lack of content is now completely shadowed by these bugs.

I feel like the matchmaking is absolutely screwed this season, I'm a gold and get constantly queued with actual champions and diamonds with 1.6kd while the enemy team gets 3 coppers and 2 silvers with 0.8kd (and viceversa). It's so bad that it's gotten to the point where I regularly see matches finishing in 4-0 and no kills from the enemy team behalf, and obviously this affects me too because it also happens to me.

I’ve been a high elo player pretty much since the start of the game. This season has reached a peak of unplayability for me, cause it’s pretty much impossible to find a game without a cheater. It is actually 95% of matches. No other game has the process of getting into a match been to ask, “do they have a cheater?” “Yeah, but his stats aren’t too crazy” “Oh, maybe we can beat him” Cause the process of dodging every game gets so exhausting that you’d rather just play against a cheater that’s beatable because they’re so bad.

The reason Ubishit is seeing a decline in Siege is because they continue to do everything people don't want like nerf and never buff ops, ruined frag grenades, ruined Solis and Nokk, ruined quickplay, ruined unranked, continue to let ranked be a shitshow, dripping out content slower than ever and having it be as buggy as ever, adding a dumbass new subscription model, etc etc. I mean it's like Ubisoft literally hates this game at this point i don't fucking understand it at all.

The only reason this game is still being supported is because of how much bank it makes. If people weren't paying for skins and bundles, Ubi would have definitely given up on Siege entirely.

To be honest, i would have liked to see something more within the lore. like these were Keres recruits or at least have cosmetics in the battle pass that makes them look like keres recruits, i also do miss the 5 stack recruits and the shield

You hit the nail on the head at 5:50, I've been SCREAMING this for a while. It's infuriating to watch a game I've LOVED for 9 years slowly die or feel like its getting neglected. I've been optimistic for YEARS for this game, but its finally hit the end of the tracks....I want to trust the process, TRULY I do... but I'm tired of being lied too, and promises constantly falling short.

I think they completely overpromised the recruit rework which lead to many being pissed off. The devs said it would be something "Never seen before". Instead they just removed the limitation. Im pretty sure most of development was spent on creating cosmetics for recruit

I cant stand the recruit update because now i have a teammate using striker or sentry which is strictly a fragging op and theyve gone 0-3, brought no useful utility, haven’t even used their secondary utility, and now theyre picking sentry on defense to dk the same thing. Just a detriment to the team

Been playing since 2018 with my first operation being Wind Bastion, and this is HANDS DOWN the worst season I've ever seen released for R6. I heavily disagree with your "we aren't game devs so we can't criticize R6 devs" attitude. It makes you come off as a major suckup who won't call Ubi on their crap when they so blatantly shaft us players. If you want to see the game improve, then you correct devs with blunt and non-sugarcoated criticism. Even more so when I've seen smaller dev teams produce a way better game with an actually functional anti-cheat while working on a 5x smaller budget. It's clear to me Ubisoft really just doesn't care about R6's playerbase anymore. They try to juice them for every dollar with the new memberships, while pumping out a garbage rework (that nobody asked for or wanted) that is paired with the most gamebreaking bugs. I'll 100% be uninstalling R6 until the game improves or dies out.

My biggest issue with the season is that they removed the animated skin from the battle pass to add to the Membership, so the membership doesn't actually give you an extra animated weapon skin, it just gives you one you would've gotten anyway in the pass if the membership didn't exist, they made the battle pass worse and I was at a point last season thinking "surely they can't get worse, right?" And I was wrong

I would enjoy today's Siege with the looks of old Siege much more, and of course they need to bring back cut stuff like Zofia's withstand, Echo has no phone, etc. Imagine if Ubi added 1 unique gameplay thing for each op, just how Valve did with Dota recently with introduction of aspects and innate abilities. That would've been amazing to see.

As far as the Cheating Situation on PC, The R6 Team Should Definitely allow MNK On Console & Just Separate the Matchmaking for Controller Input & MNK so that PC players can at least still play the game Until They Figure Shit Out. PC is literally Unplayable with all the Cheaters...

I just want to point out i bought the Cav legendary for like $20 or whatever when it came out years ago and the red silencer skin that came with it had been broken and would never apply to the gun for OVER 2 YEARS. I paid money for this shit and it was broken, they FINALLY fixed it in a couple seasons ago. This is the Ubisoft we are talking about here, i have no hope.

Yeah, that pissed me off as well, that was the whole gist of it, no one played recruit because he had something to offer, people just rushed 5 recruits every once in a while and it was a blast. Now they threw that away and even that tiny, rare decision is unavailable.

Ubisoft should have made this season into another operation health season, working to fix known issues and overall improving the game for their playerbase, adressing concerns and ideas many players have instead of just listening mainly to proleague players to make critical game changing decisions. It seems like this season has gone backwards with the introduction of new almost game-breaking bugs. Tbh it doesn't seem like the devs are doing much in recent years, not as much effort being put into each season, and it actually seams like the level of effort has been declining consistently for a while, (for the exception of y9s1, probably most effort in at least a year imo), many of the cosmetic items have seriously declined in quality whilst prices have increased, I feel the battlepass is just not worth it, and it has definitely become more about a cash grab for ubisoft than it has a reward for players. I have also noticed many of the operator skins are recycled with a few minor changes.

I think quality of life updates are great however, this is not a quality of life update. This is an “Update” because they have to, this is not aimed towards developers. This is aimed towards executives that push for these roadmaps that are unrealistic.

I don't mind this season from a content standpoint. Like one or two years ago I said "Siege should take one year where they just focus on the health of the game". And I think that that is what this year is. Not that much content, not that much new and exciting stuff, but a lot of changes, especially for new players. And I support that. What I don't support though is the bugs and new problems they introduced with the new season. Like the deadzone bug. On MnK. On PC. Yes, that bug also effects MnK. It's most noticable when you're in a camera. If you move your mouse slowly the camera doesn't move at all. You have to move it at a certain speed to get the camera to move. Furthermore, there seems to be another bug plaquing the inputs. They just feel... Weird and kinda delayed, both on PC and on console. I can even notice some massive input lag sometimes. I don't understand how they did it, but they somehow messed that up completely.

Bring back stat bans, and have a system that keeps a bigger eye on people that magically go from gold with a 0.7 kd to like diamond with almost a 2.0 kd, that and start banning people that squad with cheaters to get boosted

I had hope with the acog rebalancing last season but they followed it up with the worst season the games ever had lmao.

To me I have gotten so bored of siege because of the lack of content at the start of this season has made me come to the conclusion to delete the game. This season is a okay season. The rework is also good and I feel like it has been needed to be done and I like how you can actually customise how both recruits are for outfits, weapon skins and even charms too. I love how we can also now change the attachments of the guns that we have been given. This season started off strong for me and I was loving it for about the first good few days but as time goes on I started to less and less play it. To the point where I delete the game. My opinion

I will say in my opinion, the reason I was disappointed with the recruit rework was simply how it was advertised. A “rework”. In siege’s past, and for other games too, reworks are massive. They focus on adding/subtracting new elements to the kit of an existing character and make them play substantially more different. Usually they subtract bad things and add new good things. This rework added minimal new, and subtracted a substantial amount. The most that recruit was “reworked” was cosmetically, that’s it. Being able to pair any secondary gadgets is technically a new approach to recruit, but that’s something you could’ve changed with the old one EASILY. It’s not worthy of the term rework. And subtracting the ability for everyone to run recruit is again, SUBTRACTIVE. I was never planning to start playing recruit in ranked. No one really was. But since we basically LOST content which was advertised as new and reworked, yeah of course everyone has a problem with it. Ubi claimed they were going to add, but they subtracted instead. False advertising.
