Hansard at councils would make a huge change across the board with councillor meetings and CEO meetings

Their are to many policies, strategies, charters across the 79 councils that are not uniform in their wordings. Community Question time is one example, media engagement policies, community engagement policies, community engagement strategies, structures of Township Strategy Plans reports and many more.

What are you views on planning applications that have 15 or more objections sent to council that are simple not taken into consideration or delayed to councillors reading when approval is given.

But what about a conflict of interest with senior council officers and planning officers

The Community Satisfaction Survey questions are not the same across say large regional councils. The extent of questions are determined by the council, probably the CEO. All contracts of council must be fully reported and not limited. I refer to the Bass Coast Shire Council contracts awarded spreadsheet listing. Council have informed they do not report all contracts awarded.

The councillor Induction Training is very poor. It’s left up to the CEO’s to conduct. The training must become independent and expanded.
