Operation Snowfall 2023: Navigating I-40 and I-395 snow routes in a stock 4x4

We venture out in our stock Jeep Willys JL into the lesser known areas of the I-395 and I-40 to discover the beauty and solitude of our recent 2023 snowstorms. We targeted elevations at less than 6,000ft, as everyone else is headed for the most popular snow resorts, mountain trails and snow play areas, as a result of record snowfall. The routes we accessed were open at the time we travelled. As always, heed to road closed signs and do not travel into areas that are closed. The best preparation is common sense.

Man...I've never seen the 395 that buried in snow. Spring and summer will be epic with all the lakes being full.
