UPDATE: Original Pattern: R / L / R / Break / End Alternative: R / L / Break (Start on R, End on L) / R / End I kinda prefer the alternative because it reminds me of the A-A-B-A musical form. ----------------------- I love this time step and just started learning it today (very slowly). In a "Tidbit Thursday" video on Operation Tap, Hillary performs a combination starting in a triplet feel, then transitions the step sequences immediately into 16th notes. I wondered if that approach might work for this time step and decided to write it out. If no extra steps or repeated measures are added, the time signature would change to 6/4; otherwise, it fits nicely. A time step is a step tbat keeps time. You canake anything into a time step. This is probably one hilary made up. You're probably talking about the traditional single, double and triple times steps. Those are just time step standards.
