Nice battrep. Any plans on continuing the campaign?

Nice board and well painted figures. You tried your best, but scenario is too heavily weighted in favour of British. Perhaps having the Germans draw the objectives on a map and declaring positions after the SAS have jumped "blind" would give the Germans a fighting chance. Difficult if playing solo, but could always roll x4 D6 and add pin for combat jump. Warlord games have a tendency to load a scenario in favour of models that you would need to buy. I found a similar theme with "Fortress Budapest" with the early scenarios being too heavily weighted in favour of the Hungarians. Looking forward to next episode.

Thank you 😊 It became apparent while playing that trying to spot the SAS operatives was incredibly hard. I think flares would of helped bring the game into balance. Unfortunately I didn't get to play test the game before to alter anything. I like that idea of 4D6 for Combat drop, 👍🏻

@@el-wargamer348 Hi EL, I was a doctor in the RAMC. I served with 3 Para as RMO and later with 2 PFA in the late 70's/early 80's in BAOR. In 3 Para it was standard practice to have the medics in different aircraft as, unless you had unlikely air superiority, we could lose at least 1:3 aircraft on the approach to the DZ. The medics would normally jump as No 4 starboard side, theoretically landing in close proximity to each other. Fortunately the unit was never required to jump in wartime conditions or at night, but I would think it would have been akin to the episode in Band of Brothers. 2 PFA didn't do a single training jump, due to cost and availability of aircraft, for the 18/12 that I was attached to them. I would be "farmed out" to provide "Noduf" Brigade cover instead. The best units that I served with were 35 ER and 1/7 GR. Keep safe, John.

Awesome, thank you for your service from one veteran to another. 😊 I served in the RAVC as a Dog handler, but first i began my army career with 13Regt RLC in 16 Air Assault Brigade, Colchester. Had a fantastic time with the Brigade and its Airborne units. 👍🏻
