Hello Mr. Rick, Glad to hear that you're clear from Fire area. I just hope with rainy season, I pray there no flare ups.

The rain was super nice! Kind of like that empty yard. Time to clean the track!

Yes Rick my wife and I went to the train show at the Big -E in Springfield Massachusetts. Holy crap a whole lot of eye candy, we went for both days Saturday we scouted and Sunday went for the sales. Hell we're watching a video now on KZbin 😊. It was the Amherst Railway society that put the show on. Have a good one Rick!

Hey Rick! Yes, the “Big Railroad Hobby Show” is in West Springfield next to the CSX wes’side yard. It’s put on by the Amherst Railway Society. And it’s always the last weekend in January. It’s currently spread over four buildings. I did not attend this year. 👍🏻

Another great video. I use an old Iphone 5 as a throttle. It is the perfect size to hold in one hand. Thanks for sharing.

I like yer yard dog sound effect - that should put fear into anyone thinking about trespassing, right? Benjamin is a good name for him

I went to Amherst last year. Can’t financially justify the $1500 it cost to go every year, but wow what an experience

I have a suggestion if you want to go a little more prototypical and that's ground throws for the turnouts. I use the Caboose Industries ground throws on my HO layout. Layout height is waist high and 24 inch depth front to back. Sure it's a little more fiddly than your stick thing but it works okay with my Atlas code 83 turnouts. One more thing that connect me to the operations. Oh yeah - DC operations as I couldn't afford to outfit 30 locos with decoders.

I agree with you about the turnout locks. Better to have them for formal ops only. Casual ops they would just be a nuisance.

Sound is nice. Softer is better. So loud you can hear it from 4 feet away, bad. Just my opinion. Keep the videos coming. They are great.
