Imagine, you're in your living room, with headphones bluetoothed to your PS3 through a painstakingly difficult pairing process. Volume cranked up, screaming down the highways of Paradise City at 300 kilometers per hour as this song booms in your ears, 10 years old but literally headbanging.

Drove 4 hours to go see A7X in west palm. The opening band was some kid that wasnt old enough to walk through the bar to get to the stage. They made him walk all the way around and he sung and shredded at the same time. It was amazing. The next band was Operator and the guitarist did like a 2 minute solo that was actually EPIC and I was right there in the front and got a guitar pick which is pretty sweet. In my mind I was like "if that guitarist was that F'n good how good is A7X gonna be". A7X came on and were so dissappointing I never listened to them again. True story. So I was like "lets go get an Operator CD for the drive home". Was buying the CD and realized that the whole band was just selling their own merch and they all signed the CD and they couldnt have been more humble guys, that was while their first song was a hit also. Got in the car put the CD in and well.....it sucked. They were so much better live and I swear they werent even the same songs. Maybe it was just bad decisions on who the producer of the album was but they should have captured these guys as a band and not tried to make them something else. I would still go see these guys again, the guitarist needs to be let free and shred. He is too restrained and I think now that the guitar solo is popular again the timing is perfect. Maybe they will see this message and let me help in the studio lol. I got some skills incase they do see this :o)
