Briedis was a bit sick going in (little flu or sniffle). I think he'll do better this time.

i would favour briedis in his prime but he's 39 years old, cant help but think youth will take this one.

It's a shame that Briedis is old, coming off an injury, and hasn't fought in 2 years

Can’t take him lightly tho, he’s still dangerous. If he uses feints more this time around he may get more success with his power shots

Great analysis. Thank you for taking your time to do this.

Great analysis. Breidis is getting up there and has been in a lot of wars and hasn’t been in a fight since Jai. He’s tough but I bet he comes in out of shape.

You have already lost that bet. Briedis has social media (instagram and KZbin) where he posts videos. He is in shape. Opetaia’s fans argument for him winning boils down to hope that Briedis is old and tired. Look up his recent posts, he is in better shape than he was for the first fight. Plus, he already fought Opetaia and had almost two years to prepare for this. This is how I look at it. But everyone sees things from their perspective. Let’s see what the actual fight will bring.

@@SergeyIAMyou seem the one to be worried about your old man’s age. We know this fight won’t be easy, but Jai is more than prepared for whatever comes. Lfg Jai! 💪🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥

Opetaia’s jaw was broken in two places. First in the 2nd round. Then broken again later because it was swinging in the wind.

I just can’t get the feeling that Bredis took this fighting thinking he could win with a 2 year lay off. I feel like he’s cashing out. Let’s see if he can get the stoppage this time

Got briedis winning by stoppage on a for fun accumulator. Jai has a chin but isn't unstoppable.

Breideis is a tough out for anybody at Cruiser. B gave Usyk his toughest/closest fight to date and that fight could have gone either way on the scorecards. Agreed: lead hand and distance control will be key for Opetai. He's gotta fight tall, use his superior footwork and keep it at range.
