Thank god someone recognizs how great Martin Axenrot was. Everyone loves Lopez with very good reason, but Axenrot is an incredible player that was exactly what Opeth needed.

Couldn't have said it better ! Lopez is fantastic and everyone knows that. But coming into a band like Opeth and drumming like that in Watershed just showed how brilliant of a drummer Axenrot is. I feel like he doesn't get enough recognition. But he deserves way more praise !

Axe was such a good metal drummer, and I feel he never got to shine in the later opeth albums (though I still love them). It sucks he's out of the band too now, hopefully Walteri will be a worthy successor. Great drumming as always, and here's to more great covers in the future.
