no he is not, his transitions are cheap against genious Martin Axenrot

@@marekcislak3806 let him get more comfortable with the band, he'll defo bring more of his style across. I was also sceptic when Axe replaced Lopez.

@@marekcislak3806 funny you say that because he plays the parts nearly note for note, compared to the studio version (recorded by Martin Lopez)

Just an opinion from an old dinosaur but Mike is more creative & way funnier than Ritchie. Don't get me wrong as Blackmores a Guitar God no doubt's at all. 🎸

Joakim usually does backing vocals, but Fredrik does some, as well. He’s been doing them since Pale Communion, I believe.

Where's Reverie? This is just Harlequin Forest

most of the newer Opeth fans don't understand that. or casual fans.

@@glennielsen what I never understood about that is that reverie is at the end of Atonement, so why is it printed as Reverie/ Harlequin Forest ??? Is it a printing error?
@warrenoids2 жыл бұрын
@@Haxprocess Reverie is neither at the end of Atonement nor is it on Harlequin Forest on the physical release of Ghost Reveries. It appears as a negative time track so the only way you could play it is by fast forwarding the album or listening up to that point. I agree that it's confusing to call the song Reverie/Harlequin Forest without there actually being Reverie in it. Technically a "ghost" reverie if you think about it ;)
@NaanProphet2 жыл бұрын
@@Haxprocess If you owned the CD, what would happen is Atonement would end, and then the CD time would start counting from -1:06 to 0:00 while the Reverie instrumental was playing. It's what's known as a gap track, it's essentially something you can only do with CD formatting. 3 of my favorite prog albums from 2005 utilized it so it must have been popular that year. Anyway, when that format gets ripped from a CD, it just gets assigned to the back end of the previous track. It's confusing as hell and it either should have been it's own song or be part of Harlequin Forest properly. My guess is the mastering engineer talked them into it since it's a very late stage process.

this song is called Harlequin Forest, not "Reverie"
@maeflower51082 жыл бұрын
it's notated as "reverie/harlequin forest" on the album etc. and i think people don't realize reverie is attached to the end of atonement most of the time
