In the corner beside my window Hangs a lonely photograph There is a reason I never notice it Memory that could hold me back There is a wound that's always bleeding There is a road I'm always walking And I know you'll never return to this place Gone through days without talking There is a comfort in silence So used to losing all ambition And struggling to maintain what's left There is a wound that's always bleeding There is a road I'm always walking And I know you'll never return to this place Once undone, there's only smoke Burning in my eyes to blind To cover up what really happened And force the darkness unto me There is a wound that's always bleeding There is a road I'm always walking And I know you'll never return to this place

Hey, thanks a lot for the comments! Yeah, audacity takes a bit of tinkering to get used to, but it's a great program, specially since it's free, and you can do pretty fancy stuff with it once you get into the nitty gritty. Thanks again, looking forward to hearing your version with vocals. :)

@papan1990 The guitar used is an Ibanez RG350DX and the amp is a Line6 Spider IV 75. The amp is connected straight to the comp through line-in, so no fancy stuff was used. The whole thing was recorded and edited with Audacity. Don't remember what I used for the solo, just messed around with the amp until I got the sound that I liked. :P

@papan1990 Heh, thanks for the compliments. :) There really isn't much to say about this one, it's an easy song to learn once you get into it. I recommend you get a backing track, helps with the timing so you don't suddenly start playing too fast. Other than that, just play and feel what you are playing and it will come. :)

Hey man great job on the cover, I put some vocals to it. Finishing up the mastering now. I'm hoping to have it up by tonight if not tomorrow. \m/\m/

Great job , but you forgot a full measure in the beginning.
@MrMorridin11 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I know. :P Felt kinda stupid when I caught it and thought about redoing it, but then some people used it to make vocal covers with and made it work, so I just left it as it is.. I'm calling it "my special senile touch". :P

0_O I commend you on your work in Audacity lmao. I started out on Audacity. It's not bad for a free DAW but it can be a pain in the ass. again great job on the cover.
