Tell me this is not the ultimate peak of Opeth. I've never EVER heard growls that good, this night Mikael sounded like Satan on steroids. The last minutes of BWP for fuck sake... 1:28:40 is destruction. The line "Caught in unbridled suspense" of BWP defines what being here was like.

Yes an amazing gig! I'm just dumbfounded by the amount of talking instead of LISTENING to the actual music. I saw Opeth in Feb 2020 in NYC and sadly it wasn't much better. Ill never get that...pay to see this amazing band but talk through it?

I'd TOTALLY sacrifice 1 year of lifespan to witness a 3 hours Opeth live when Mike was at his best I don't only speak about the insanely perfect growls, but also about the intensity and his stage presence. This dude looks like your average middle age guy but was a fucking demon on stage. (Also, the setlist is great)

It's Per Wiberg: He was playing the piano parts and did background vocals at this time for Opeth. You can see and hear him on the first Opeth Live-DVD, too. He joined Opeth later officially as keyboarder for "Ghost Reveries" but left with "Heritage". Great guy!
