I love the idea of signing and dating the blankets. A dear friend has become nearly blind, but can still crochet large Afghan blankets - I will embroider some labels for her so that they can be attached to her projects. Thank you for sharing your grandmother’s beautiful work!

Hello, just happen to run on to your video and I had to laugh because I have been going through all of my afghans that I have made and the ones my mother made, I taught her how to crochet so they are extra special to me. Mouke was very special. Each and every blanket is gorgeous, and I think her double bed blankets, doing them in lines and then joining - is a brilliant idea. The filet crochet is gorgeous, and I would love to learn her joining, her patterns and her borders. They are beautiful and I would love to have a Mouke blanket of my own as well (made by me of course, I wouldn't take these heirlooms from you). :)
