Ophire Co Crochet Hook Review!!! Woohoo!

I ordered 2 of these ophire hooks and they will be here Saturday. I can not wait. I'm so excited. Everyone raves on and on about these hooks so I had to try them that and they are alot cheaper than a furls. I can't justify spending that kind of money in a hooks from furls. But these ophire hooks I have a feeling I will be buying a lot of them. Ty for sharing this video.

They are pretty! Our oldest daughter was born in October. I was thinking of a set of all of our kids birthday months. Grandkids and then my hubbys. You gotta have goals, right? 😂. Thanks for watching 💕

I got a mixed set of 10 of these hooks, and while they are beautiful and feel good in the hand, 5 of the hooks were larger than their stated mm size. The company replaced these hooks, unfortunately the replacement hooks had the same problem. I also realized that these hooks did not play well with cotton or cotton blend yarn, so I returned all the hooks for a refund. Ophire customer service was easy to work with.

Thank you for the detailed review! They definitely look appealing. How do they compare to the inline heads of the other known brands? Is there a difference in rhe sharpness of the hook end (the bitey part not the tip)? When I was sorting out which hook head I like more, I wound up switching to the boye style but would definitely want to have some of these inline in my stash, if they work well. Are rhere certain fibers that cooperated better than other fibers?

Hi Lilia! You are welcome! I do have a comparison video coming up the beginning of March for Hook week that will go into detail about this first question that you have. I will say comparing it to Furls or Susan Bates the hook head is much easier for me. I tend to catch with those. Chenille yarn has a bit of drag on any resin hook that I have used but not terrible with this one. Not enough to change hooks anyway. Thank you for the questions and thank you for watching!!

It has drag like any resin hook wood with cotton, but it works
