Congrats on the happy accident! I hope you do end up making the chickens. I'd like to see how your version turns out! Curious - what colors would you prefer, other than the ones currently on offer?

@@slowcrochet we’ll see. I find myself really liking the cottagecore palette that’s trending now like the muted soft blues, greens, and browns. At least for the things I would wear. I find neutral colors with a pop of a fun color hits that nice sweet spot personally. I think I’m just surprised by the lack of neutral background colors now that I think about it.

I had to go take a look. I'm surprised at how many colorways are unavailable! I'm also surprised that they have a few with seemingly very low contrast between adjacent colors. Ah well. Time will tell whether it is a novelty or if it has staying power.
