I really love this collection too, I ordered two last week as soon as they were available on Nail Polish Canada, had to wait a little. They came today, I bought "Less Is Norse" and "Turn on The Northern Lights" to start off, I was immediately drawn to both. But I am leaning towards getting "One Heckla Of a Color! I have been waiting for your review before I made my decision on what to get or not...there were so many polishes that caught my eye in this collection. Your videos are the best! I find that you have a similar polishing style (thinner coats) to me...which makes a difference in whether a polish is a 2 or 3 coater...I tend to avoid three coaters. And your pics are the most color accurate. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your channel! When i have the patience to wait for your reviews, I don't end up disappointed :)

Last night I bought Turn on the Northern Lights and Less is Norse. I'm debating going back for That's what Friends are Thor (I don't have a brown creme) and that green Ulta exclusive... but I need to see swatches first!

Great review Jess. I really like this collection too. I have picked up a mini set and a couple of full sized bottles and I really like them all! I did get Turn on the Northern Lights in the full size. Some reviews say it is a purple, but I think it is a navy, but I think the shimmer makes it hard to tell the exact colour. This collection has me looking forward to Autumn! Thanks for the great review :)

Hmm What Are Friends Thor and Krona logical colour do look like dupes of something but can't put my finger on it LOL. Have you ever compared the deluxe OPI (can't think of what they call them) to regular in the same color? I bought Northern Lights in the more expensive one and I feel like the shimmer doesn't show as much as it does in all the swatch videos I've watched I wish the shimmer in Geysirs was stronger, it's a gorgeous idea, especially for winter!

Have you noticed a major difference between the regular OPI and the infinite shine? In love with some of these colors and debating which formula to get

I have personally not experienced any extra wear with Infinite Shine, nor have a noticed a difference in formula. But wear time is VERY VERY subjective from person to person. There are a lot of factors that affect wear time, so it might be worth it to try one and see how you like it :)

I hope I can ask this question here. I'm new to Essie polishes. I have an Essie polish in the shade "hi maintenance" which looks light pink in the bottle and it's so sheer that it looks clear even after two coats. I also have another shade that looks very light blue/ purple in the bottle and again it looks almost clear when on. I don't get it...I am perplexed...are all their shades this sheer or am I just choosing the wrong ones? Please someone help. I don't want to keep spending money on a polish that doesn't show up on me. Thank you to anyone who can help with my concerns.

A lot of nudey-colored essie polishes are sheer, like the type of nail polish my mom would wear or something. I'm not the biggest fan of essie but you should definitely give some of the bolder colors a try. Just to be safe, stay away from the light pinks

If you want to know if an Essie polish is shear or opaque look at the bottom - if you can see the ball bearing clearly its shear!

I have both shades and thought the same thing until I compared them side by side in real life. S'il Vous Play is a lighter, brighter, more appropriate for summer, shade - and also more lilac in color. Reykjavik is darkened, more suited to autumn, and more mauve-y (just my humble opinion!!). I'm glad I have both!! They're really just variations on a theme.
