I really like this collection. I'm not a big OPI fan and I do have a lot of similar colors BUT that formula looks amazing. I'm gonna have to get that light green, it reminds me of the pistachio pudding my mom made when I was a kid. Also that grayed out periwinkle is something I'm sure I don't already own.

Great swatches. Can definitely see how awesome these formulas are. I am a sucker for pink so I will probably end up getting Rice Rice Baby, Arigato and Hurryjuku. The greeny teal was also really nice.

I agree, Anne!! I had stopped buying ANY China Glaze due to the darn skinny, long brushes (and was cursing that each time they came out with a unique polish)... but now that they've changed out to wider brushes, I will go back to them for more creative shades and formulas and finishes. Yawn, OPI!!!

I was hoping for some glitter toppers, given their Holiday collection. Meh. I have all those colors. I don't think I want to buy any mainstreams for awhile. For close to the same price of an OPI or Essie, I can get an indie and indie makers are always trying new things. With mainstreams, I feel like I keep buy the same polishes, with new names.

Really loving this collection! The colors really play well together, and they have spring/summer written all over them. Thank you for including the comparisons as well. A lot of these colors look very similar to what OPI has put out in the last year or so, and it's very helpful to see them next to each other. That said, I'll probably end up buying the entire collection! Look forward to seeing the glitters soon!

The shades look completely different from when you swatch vs the pictures you take so you can’t really tell what’s the true shade of the polish but nice swatches nonetheless, I liked the first one and the green one but hopefully they come out with more than one spring collection

lovelygeminibren I've been watching Phoebe for a long time and I've bought several polishes based on her swatch photo. I don't go off of how it looks when she swatches, I go off the photo because she usually color corrects it so it shows true to color (or as close as possible). Usually when I order a polish based on her pic it's pretty dang close to what you get. Hope this helps 😁

A better variety of colors inspired by Japan is Essie's fall 2016 collection. It's cooler, but only has one pink and one berry, with a blue, orange, purple, and grey. Also Tempura-ture is Rising is a good match for Pantone color for 2019. ❤️

currently cnd sticky, i use one coat, then let it dry(about 5 min.), then i add a 2nd coat but only brush it midway down nail to the tip and let it dry. Also, Essie has a new one I really like called here to stay base coat. It is very important to get rid of excess cuticles,also. I try not to get my nails wet 2 hours before/after i paint nails. This may sound like alot, but I ,literally, spent years trying to keep polish to stay on!!. I cap ends of nails, and reapply top coat, every night or every other night. Essie and wetnwild megalast stay on really well for my body chemistry too!!

I already own over 100 polishes but I'm a sucker for a good Green, Teal/Aqua, Blue, cool-toned purple as well as any polish that's duochrome or Iridescent in any way. I own multiples of those types of shades & will continue to keep buying them BUT I only own 1 red, 2 berry's, 4 brown/nudes, 1 Orange, 1 orangey Yellow, 1 pinky nude, 2-3 bright pinks, 1 white & 1 black (I use the white & black the most) so out of 100+ polishes you can clearly tell the types of shades I go for. I literally have those colors for certain occasions. . Red, berry & pinks for Valentines. . Red also for Christmas. . . Orange & yellow in the chance I want to do summer nail art like sunflowers. . Browns/nudes for nail art my fav is use them to make a dripping ice cream cone. . . . I won't continue but ya get the point that I only have a few colors for the sole purpose of nail art &/or holiday themed nails.

I feel like OPI tends to release repetitive colors with very slight variations which is why I so appreciate how you swatch similar colors. There are a couple here I would purchase. Can't wait to see what China Glaze releases for spring/summer.

A collection of them for spring I mean instead of just boring plain creams I adore pastels but alone they can be boring like do a holographic pastel with a shifty shimmer like ilnp did only something affordable and obtainable ur seems like all the non boring polishes either cost like 20 dollars or more plus out the ads shipping I love ilnp wish it was easier 5 get in Canada but shipping to here us always awful such a shame as I buy alot if polish

There's a lot of dupes, but I have to agree and say there's a good balance of shades that fit salons and shades that fit collectors. My favorites are the periwinkle and greener teal shade!
